People tend to forget their inherit bias when it comes to their own pets. Domesticated dogs and cats are no different than any other animal in the wild. 99% of their decisions are for their own benefit, that we as humans misconstrue as emotional affection. Instead it's mostly tied to instinct and self preservation. Just like we as humans do and make selfish decisions that can be seen by others as a positive trait, if they don't know our actual thought process. I think some things are easy to decipher as emotion though. My dog whines and mopes when im not home so im told. When I just get home if I got to thr bathroom she whines. And when people say Batman with planning can beat anybody, it means he's prepared for the battle beforehand and rigged the field. I was also operating under the assumption its just his normal gear which usually has 1 kryptonite ring in his utility belt that superman himself gave him. Like the assumption is its a unplanned fight one attacks the other without forewarning. The only reason I've ever actually enjoyed the JRPG's stark division between exploration-world and battle-world was, in hindsight, purely due to technical limitations. In 1994 it was very cool when FF6 transitioned from the blocky overworld to these lovely static backdrops with huge, detailed images of monsters. Conversely, it was neat in 1997 when FF7 transitioned from the gorgeous yet static backdrops of the worldspace to the fully-3D environments and monsters in the combat world. However, once the graphics and engine caught up and made it possible to have both exploration and combat exist in the same worldspace, there was no excuse to keep up the outdated tradition, and this was one of the things I loved about FF12. For me 12 was more immersive for how it did things. Screen transitions for battles was always immersion breaking to me especially when the battleground is different looking to where you where I.e. you where climbing stairs but now youre on flat ground. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" Never have the best weapons in it sure but serviceable weapons for the average enemy strength of that area. Just weird you can buy armor but not weapons. Ive never ran out of weapons but ive so far ran into the issue plenty of times the enemies where tough enough i wanted to use my stronger weapons bit what they where dropping weapon wise sucked. Fortunately I tackled guredo area first and got umbrosas fury. Has a bit of a cooldown time but helps immensely if I find myself against a tougher opponent. Im still playing for the first time but what I do love is ive always called zelda games adventure games genre wise. With this i realize that wasnt completely accurate until this game. Now this game is about adventuring. Just spent like 20 minutes climbing a mountain with no clue if my efforts would be rewarded or id find nothing. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" Yeah just moved and was amazed at without even teaching her my dog seems to know where our yard ends and doesnt leave the yard. Had another dog that grew up with a fenced in yard and it took work getting her to underatand invisible boundaries but she did learn. Any time the player doesnt have control is because they are just watching something. Is this out of books in Skyrim? I always took that for overhyped myth based in a little bit of truth. Just like the bible claimi g Jesus did this or that. While i believe jesus existed I doubt he could do a lot of what the bible claims he did. It just bugs me when something is supposedly in lore but we see no actual evidence of it. As far as player characters go I will only ever go by what I can see them capable of. I can believe the greybearda being immensely powerful as theyve had ages to ptactice the thuum but as stated earlier they tend to stay out of stuff. I would equate them the being a stand in for the 7 sages though if they did decide to get involved. I dont think the dragonborn is that powerful (yet as in the course of thr game) hes just special in that he didnt need years of training to use shouts. I agree these death battles can be stupid but it cam be fun to speculate and debate it. I just hate the idea of always making it a "death" battle when not all fictional charactera kill. Super SF 2 turbo etc. Yeah capcom technically still does that but you could keep the base game and just purchase the characters as they come out then eventually you get a patch that changes your base copy to thr latest version. I'm pointing out the logical fallacy of people assuming that just because someone is immortal means they win. Like, cool. Skyrim has no Master Sword or whatever plot coupon of the week is needed to kill the guy. There are plenty of ways to stop someone without killing them. I know that but those ways have proven to only postpone the inevitable when it comes to ganondorf. He always returns one way or another. Banishment to oblivion is about tamierles only hope but even with that it will probably only halt him for a few hundred years until he devises a plan to return. Someone mentioned a elder scroll that simply erases people. I havent heard of it but if thats accurate and some hero got ahold of it that could work. If he can do it how come he never does even in a non player controlled scenario. Im saying perhaps its possibke but DB doesnt get that strong during the eventa of thr game. The greybeards maybe but they are notorious for staying neutral. And im a fanboy of both games btw. Ive probably put more time into Skyrim than any one zelda game.
