| mcflubbin 02/06/20 9:50:05 AM #288 | At first I was kind of put off by Laslow's refine and thinking that I would just stick with the mega defensive build that I already had for him, but then I saw some videos on the subreddit of an unmerged Laslow putting in some serious work with a DC / Vantage build. Having a brave effect on both phases is pretty great, even if it might take a lot of work to set up properly. Luckily, I just recently summoned a Nagi with my free pull on her recent banner, so I have a spare DC to give him. I'll have to do some tinkering to find a good team that can help support him and get him set up. Right now I'm thinking Legendary Lucina or Odin would be good partners, but we'll see. --- It's not so impossible! |

The tribal council kind of reminded me of an episode of Law and Order: SVU where a total creep gets a super lenient sentence due to some technicality or something, and you just have this awful feeling in the pit of your stomach because no justice was served. I might post more of my feelings later, but overall I think it was a bizarre, uncomfortable, but extremely gripping two hours of television. Unfortunately, I don't know where the rest of the season goes from here. I feel like the premerge was surprisingly solid, but most of the people left, barring Janet (the GOAT) and maybe a few others, are varying degrees of scum and I don't want to root for any of them. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it plays out. --- It's not so impossible! |

I'm having a hard time putting it down, which is a big problem for me because I really need to be practicing for EVO lmao. Peace___Frog posted... The voice acting has largely been great, but the chapter intros are really bland. The attempts at world building are nice but they're so generic and read with so little emotion that it's just one more thing I'd like to skip. I agree that the chapter intros are really generic, but I love love love the art style that they use so I always look forward to them. --- It's not so impossible! |

Any time a new iteration of an existing fighting game franchise comes out, people are gonna bitch relentlessly about how the roster doesn't have their favorite character so the roster sucks and the game sucks and they're not gonna buy the game because the developers suck and the developers don't care about their fans and blah blah blah blah blah.
