One that my friend does is we could be a 1/2 mile from the exit, in our lane to exit, but he'll still move to the left lane to go around someone who is going a fine speed. They aren't even going slow, but he'll still risk missing our exit so he can get 1 car ahead.

I also hate when I'm going 80 in a 55, passing multiple people so I stay in the left lane for a while, but someone comes speeding behind me and tailgates me as if I'm going slow. Is 25 over the speed limit not fast enough?

Relating to some other recent posts, I hate when someone clearly has the right of way at a stop sign intersection, or someone is trying to cross the street. I come to a complete, 100% stop, and they don't go. They do the thing "are you going, yes, no, maybe I'll inch forward a little, stop, ok now I'll go". I'm at a complete stop, I'm not moving, just go!

People who park in the fire lane to go into a store in the strip mall because "I'll only be a minute" when the parking lot less than 20ft. away has plenty of spots available.

I worked at a mall and I always hated when people picked up/dropped off people in front of the main entrance, which then turned the main road (you know, the busiest section of road in the mall area) into a 1 lane street. It's even worse when the person they're waiting to pick up isn't outside, so they sit in the road for minutes at a time waiting for the person to come out.

Combine that with the foot traffic coming in and out of the main entrance, and cars can be backed up for the entire length of the mall. There's literally a parking lot next to them, your friend/relative can walk, there's no reason to cause that much traffic to save them 20 extra seconds of walking.

I heard that all the time when I would say the only episode I watched was the first episode and it was terrible, so I don't want to watch the rest. The response was always "the first 2 episodes suck, then it gets amazing".

Then recently I was basically forced to watch an episode from the latest season, the one where Rick and Morty split into good and bad versions of themselves, and it was still terrible.

So I give up on the show.

I wrote a paper recently and the minimum was 10 pages single spaced. Near the end of the semester the teacher said we can do double spaced, and there was an audible sigh of relief and a few fist pumps.

My paper was around 25 pages at that point. I have no idea how the other people in class were struggling to get to 10.

I wrote a 30 page paper last semester debunking a lot of arguments about vaccines, and this was one of them. During the presentation I played this fun game about herd immunity:

Yeah but you spend less time on your planned destination.

Well that was coming home, so we were in no rush. Except one person in the group was freaking out pretty bad, for no reason too because no one in the group of 6 had to be home on time, there was no problems waiting an extra day. So that made the time much worse.

But I never had an issue with how much time layovers were. Sometimes I like longer ones so I can have food from a different place or look at the souvenirs they have.

I believe small is just the cup, medium is the cup with 1 scoop of fries in the bag, and a large is the cup with 2 scoops of fries.

I made the mistake of getting a large my first time there too.

But one thing I can never figure out is what in the world people order that takes forever and a day to prepare. Sometimes you'll be in line and two or three cars all take upwards of four minutes apiece and then they're already waiting to give you your food when you reach the window.

Those people in front of you got massive amounts of food, or have specialty prepared food that takes more time. Or the people in front of you are the stupid customers in this thread. Complaining about prices, changing their orders at the window, adding more things, paying in tons of coins, etc.

Believe me, they want to get rid of you as fast as possible. They probably hate the slow moving line more than you do. Because now everyone else is probably going to be rude to them when it was the other customer that was holding up the line.

I think it all started blowing up when the local news did a report on him.



He moved into a neighborhood, posted his address online, so all his 12 year old fan girls swarm his house and disturb the neighborhood. Jake Paul also does stunts like filling his empty pool with stuff and making a massive fire, which is just dangerous. Basically he moved in and became a nuisance to the neighborhood, so the news made the story on him. After this news report when viral, Disney dropped him.

He then made a video saying that one of his neighbors tried to kill him and his roomates by loosening the screws on his van. He had no proof, he just claimed someone did.

He then made a video going to his neighbors houses to apologize. He also secretly recorded this, which is illegal in California. I believe he also didn't blur out their addresses.

As a joke, rapper Post Malone bought some of his merch, so Jake Paul, probably illegally, got the retailer to hand over Post Malones address so that Jake Paul can hand deliver the merch. He of course made a video, secretly, and didn't blur out Post Malones address or house. So now people can find out where he lives, which is basically doxxing.

At some point in all of this, he made a horrible, horrible rap song.

And in this topic, he made a second rap song to say how the news makes him the bad guy when he's actually a good guy.

I worked at a Dairy Queen inside a mall, in the dead center of the mall. I got a phone call from someone and they, in an angry tone, asked if we're open because they've been in the drive thru for like 5 minutes. We don't even have windows near me, so obviously it's the wrong store. I told her that you've got the wrong store because I'm inside a mall, so we don't have a drive thru. She argued with me saying that I'm lying and she's going to come inside and get me fired. I said sure, you do that.

I've never been afraid of bees, and don't understand people who are (and not allergic). If they sting you, big deal, it stings for a little bit then you get over it in an hour. I even got stung on my eyebrow as a kid, and that didn't even ruin my day.

So yes, I would take it, and I'd laugh at everyone who runs away screaming.

Joe's right, but he could have worded stuff better. But to people saying he's stopped with his game reviews (or has slowed down) he hasn't, hes actually been pumping out the same amount of reviews this year than last year. Last year he made 18 game reviews total, this year he's made 9 (excluding a 40 minute switch unboxing/vlog/first impressions). Last year at this time (August), he made 12 reviews, 3 of which were in a "mini" style, which were only 10-15 minutes long with just voiceover over gameplay. So you can say last year at this time he made 9 real reviews, compared to this years 9 reviews.

He can take a vacation if he wants, during the slow season in gaming too, it's not like he's going away in October/November. If he never made a schedule, no one would be saying a word because a 4 month gap between reviews isn't even new for him.

The audiobook is amazing btw, its narrated by Greg Sestero himself.

And anytime Greg quotes Tommy (which is a lot), he does an amazing Tommy accent.

The chests for the zodiac spear? There were much more than just one (4 locations, one of them had 16 chests), and it doesn't warn you, that's why it was so stupid.

It was so stupid that they removed that from the Ps4 version, so it's ok to open all chests. The zodiac spear is also much easier to get now, and it also got nerfed.

I just treat them like they're invisible in response. I'll scan their items and then just look at them until they give me the money for it. I won't speak until they put the phone down and speak to me first.

How I dealt with them was the exact opposite, I force them to talk to me. I would ask questions that I already knew the answer to/didn't have to ask, clarify stuff I already knew, and make sure I talk extra loud so the person on the other end would know the person they're talking to is an asshole.

Dude, my store was evacuated last week for a fire alarm (false alarm in the vents, by the propane), I was off, my mother was on shift and got an idiot who couldn't comprehend that the only reason we'd tell you to evacuate the store is for a FUCKING LIFE OR DEATH EMERGENCY! No, you can't finish your shopping jackass, the fire department wants everyone OUT NOW!

I worked in a pizza place in a malls food court, and the fire alarm light and speaker was in my store (so it was extra loud). I had some people who come and look at the menu from a distance and the alarm would go off. Lights would flash, and a robotic voice would say something like "emergency, emergency, please make your way to the nearest exit". I would turn off stuff and clear off the counters, and the person at the counter would just stand there. Then they walk to the counter and say "can I have..." and I interrupt them and say "the fire alarm is going off, we have to leave". Most of them say "oh" and walk away, one person said "is that was that is?".....yes, the alarm and the voice telling you to exit the building is the fire alarm, no your can't order something.

As for my own that no one has mentioned yet, I hate when people leave their receipts/straw wrappers on the counter. There is even a little bucket on the counter for receipts and straw wrappers, and we even make sure there's garbage in it so you know what it is. Even if you don't see it, it's a mall, there's literally a garbage can behind you, at least 10 of them are visible from the counter. Even worse is when they leave them on the counter in front of the soda machine, the one place on the counter that I can't see, so every few hours I have to go around front to wipe away the piles of paper that we can't easily grab. I went to McDonalds recently, the guy got his receipt, and then the cashier left to make his stuff, he put the receipt on the counter next to the register and slid it across. Why? Someone in the topic that does this (I know there are because this happens almost every other customer) WHY?!? After you get your food you literally walk by a garbage can to grab a seat or leave the store, so why do you have to leave your wrappers on the counter?

Like ChromaticAngel said, no one actually thought he'd be in the same area as the shark, they could be separated or in completely different pools.

I thought, because it would be hard to get a shark to swim in a straight line on command, they would film a shark in a pool and wait for it to naturally go in a straighish line, or maybe bait it with food to get it to go faster. Then they'd have Phelps do that distance and just superimpose them next to each other for the "race".

But I agree that this whole thing was a stupid idea in the first place. But I also think shark week is one of the most boring things on TV, so I'm a little more biased.
