At this time the Winchesters are not on the demons radar in as large of a way as they are later in the series. They are to a degree, but not so much where they are really looked at as a threat. Also keep in mind that at the time of S1, demon possessions in general are at a much smaller scale than what they become later on in the show. At the end of S1, Bobby mentions how few demon possessions he usually hears of in a year, and that this year it was increasing in a major way.
