To be honest, when I see opinions like the one above, my first thought is to dismiss as too unrealistic and unfeasible. But maybe that's because I am from a place where college is like the coveted destination that teachers/principals want students to reach. The parents are on-board too because most have jobs that involve cleaning, cooking, or physical labor.

Do you think that maybe there's a social/intellectual advantage to college that the author is not taking into account?

I usually prefer dubbed but really either one is fine for me. Im actually sort of a slow reader so I cannot really keep up sometimes with the text! Also, for some anime I really have trouble distinguishing between seiy so I can get really confused as to what characters are talking when theres just some voice talking but no characters are in the scene. Unless the voice is distinctive, I cant really connect a Japanese voice to a particular character.

Go at a slower pace until you can increase your distance by whatever amount you're looking for, then start cutting down your time. One, it's pointless to be fast if you can't complete the distance, two, it's much easier training this way because a key factor of running is knowing how to keep a pace.

How far have you all run at one time? For me, it would be a little over six miles. I would want to run a marathon but the distance just seems crazy to me. I want to at least be able to run 8 miles in one hour first.

Yes I liked it. I remember I got sort of scared of the opening sequence (but then again I was a little kid), specifically the rectangular grid pattern of that "arcade room" from the story. Doesn't a face appear inside it when you go into the Options menu?

I have heard a few people say that they see no point to playing a game like Guitar Hero. They would rather have a person learn to play an actual guitar. It sort of makes sense because you would be building a more valuable skill, but isn't that just an attack on all forms of entertainment?
