It does say that if you're a hardcore morning person, then it's probably better to do it in the morning. I use to shower at night and just kinda wash in the sink the next morning. But I haven't since like highschool. Because of the military shifts, I change to when I wake up, I would like to maybe start doing nights again. But my schedule is weird and changes often. Which means it's hard to just set a specific time for it.

Well, as adults, we shower when we want. And probably depending on your job. Personally, I never got that dirty at work. So, I like to get ready before I went to work. But people who got covered in dirt and grease and stuff took it right when they got home. But that also wasn't at night...

It's not super long but it's very fine and gets "stuck" however I slept on it the night before unless I dump a bunch of water on it.

Yeah I used to shower at night, but my hair/cowlick would always look like shit the next day, so I switched to doing it in the morning

well i agree bed head does look terrible, it's really bad if you're hair tends to be dry and stiff etc......

This. Just...gross. We should have a poll to see how many morning shower people sleep at night w/ a significant other vs. sleep by themselves. I know damn sure I care more about being clean for her than I do some randoms at work.

Of course, "night" is a bit restrictive. Usually it'll be after getting home, before dinner. But sometimes not till like 2 hours before bed.

It's usually the hottest in late afternoon and you're just getting home from work where you probably sweat, especially if (like me) you got in some exercise on your break or after work.
Likewise in the winter...it's around the warmest time of the day, so it's less frigid for that post-shower period.

If I'm going to my SO's house, I shower before I leave. Regardless if I work or not. And just because some people are gross after working doesn't mean everybody is. I work in an office for one of my jobs. Temperature control, usually pretty cool. No real chance to get dirty. So, I would possibly go over before showering. And it would be fine.

Yes. I dry off and put work clothes on... Sometimes, I'm still drying off after I get boxers on.

I used to shower before bed, but since i started needing and air mask, it fucks up my hair bad, requiring a morning shower to fix. Showering twice is way worse then going to bed dirty, so now i shower in the morning.

I'm a morning person, hence, I thrive in the AM and love taking showers in the morning. But I do understand the principle regarding showering at night. I have done it quite a few times and I must say that it is very relaxing and it does help in falling asleep easier. It's very cathartic. But still, I prefer to shower in the morning.

I should start to shower more at night. I wake up with red, itchy eyes and sore throat from my seasonal allergies and I think it's because I'm probably covering myself up in pollen that I could get rid of by showering.

That is all I do. Hair, pits, crotch. I rarely if ever full body scrub unless I've done something particularly dirty,
