He literally just pulled a "I know a disabled person" card to shame and discredit the people who created the AI software because he made some warped parallel between zombie animation and his disabled friend. The developers didn't need to answer for themselves, but rather Miyazaki needed to answer for why he's comparing his disabled friend to zombies.
