Yeah I need to get something like that. But it's still annoying how you can't re-map controls for VC games (afaik). I think using Y and B is way more comfortable than B and A

yeah i have a comfort grip XL, it's made a big difference in how much time I spend playing

yes, i played monster hunter way to much that started to give me arthritis or carpal tunnel in my wrist. every time i pick up 20 lbs or more i feel the sting.

I still play too much monster hunter and I don't have that issue.

Thats too bad. They shouldve designed it better. I didnt really like the Game Boy Advance Micro too.

I have the regular 3DS. I play it occasionally. I never had any problems with holding it. I mostly play Pokemon games on it as well as Kirby Triple Deluxe.

Yeah, the 3DS is awkward. I still play games on a DS Phat and I find that more cozy, I can play it for well over 90 minutes before my hands start getting sore.

I haven't used it much because the screen makes me sad

The 3ds is an incredible rpg system

I don't really play RPGs much so I don't care about that. There's still some stuff on it I want to play though, like Metroid. It's also a good GB VC console to me because the only other portable I owned was an OG GBA which sucks because there's no backlight

imgtc direct links never work for me but maybe that's because I don't embed. I end up having to remove the file extension from the URL. Imgur is slightly better because I can just refresh the page and then I'll see it

Yeah imgur direct links work better for me than imgtc. I always get the message that they were deleted for ToS violations.

They're designed for, I assume, Japanese people who generally are smaller and have smaller hands.

Typically, the larger re-releases of these consoles are comfier for people with larger hands.

I don't like the size of the XL, it's kinda cumbersome when carrying it around. Plus games don't look as good on it. I'm kicking myself for not getting the normal-sized New 3DS when they had it for like $100 that one black friday, but I thought it was going to be a normal SKU.

I wanted the Black Friday White model myself, but like you, I missed the opportunity. Tried to get one later, but with an online markup price around $180-200, it wasn't worth it. Around that time there were also a ton of scam accounts on Amazon offering it for MSRP.

However, my first (3)DS model is the original 3DS, and I've gotta say... A larger screen seems appealing right now.

Its really tricky to play certan games with the New 3DS XL. Mega Man X games and Super Metroid especially. You can do it, but the buttons are just slightly in the wrong configuration.

But for NES virtual console games, it works great.

Ha, yeah it came with my pink/white xl when I bought it at Gamestop when the model first came out. Never played it, but the original DS nintendogs was fun, so maybe the 3ds isn't bad either! Who knows.

My Vita and my 3ds compete for attention. I 'm currentky play Kirby Triple deluxe on my 3DS and digimon Hackers Memory on my VITA. I haven't played Pokemon Sun much.
