We could try to make an analogy: imagine a limousine company refusing to provide its flashiest vehicle because it would be used in a same-sex marriage ceremony. The company would provide a drab passenger van, instead. Does this change anything? I think in this analogy, the craftsmanship/artistry argument wouldnt really apply, but I see more discrimination in the hypothetical case.

I think they ruled in favor of him primarily because a commission in his state was hostile to him. Depending on the specific service he refuses to provide, or the kind of religious edict he chooses to follow, we probably would not receive the same ruling.

On the topic of banning sodas, Ive only ever heard of sugar taxes in cities like San Francisco and New York. I believe there was even a similar initiative where people receiving food assistance cannot buy sodas unless it comes out of their own pocket. I doubt it really changes peoples behavior for the better since I think they are still able to get around it by buying sugary fruit juice. Some might disagree with me but I think this kind of legislation is just a way to pretend like youre making some sort of difference as a politician.

No... did you just crawl from out of a rock? The political parties are more divided than they were even a couple of decades ago. The proof is in the preoccupation liberals and conservatives tend to have about fake news or media bias. I like to think that not super long ago, this wasnt the case because it wasnt easy for people to read clickbaity headlines catered toward their political leanings.

Where I live theyre all pretty faded and unclear for the most part unless theyve made a new addition or change to the road. It as for maintainance, it seems to be lacking.

People died in every war so that blowhards like Cadet Bone Spurs can say stupid things without getting arrested (or thrown into one of those third world sh...les that Trump despises so badly). That's what Memorial Day's all about, people dying so that people are free to live the way they want and say crap they want without getting arrested or executed or tried as 'enemies of the state'. If Cadet Bone Spurs doesn't like the idea of NFL players exercising their right of free speech, maybe him and his supporters should go to another country (I hear they have space in Antarctica).

The thing is that U.S. citizens have never been protected from exercising their right to free speech in private settings like in a workplace. Unless of course there is a situation where some players are allowed to use their position as a platform because of their ethnic origin but not others.

I know it's just a blog, but I thought you brought up a lot of ideas at once and I started getting confused because it didn't seem very coherent. I think it would have been better if you developed your anecdote fully instead of bringing up those other ideas.

Woah woah woah, you don't get to excuse your involvement here. You put this on the topic list like I should care, so sell the cause to me.

Its not like this news is absolutely irrelevant to most people. In the entertainment industry, as in just about any other industry, there can be misbehaviors that stun the people who see it happen because thats not what they expect from the powerful people they admire.

Often, people do get caught up in headlines, but I think the most important thing about articles like these is just that people are trying to make their incredible stories known. By incredible, I mean, many wouldnt believe them if they werent corroborated by several others because they involve high-status actors.

I feel thats what ends up happening when you are the often the most experienced/respectedb actor on the cast. You start to feel like you can get away from doing things that you think you could deflect by virtue of being this powerful person.

This seems to go against a lot of the feedback but I really like the Riolu. I think its nose looks fine actually but maybe it should be a little wider. The shading on its face looks a bit confusing because it looks like it has stubble.

Also, I think its arm that is pointing up looks like too much like a geometric construction and it doesnt look natural just curving up th way it is. Theres something a little off about the fingers and toes but I cant really express it.

lol in the video there was a girl crying because she said that she worked so hard to get on the team and now her efforts are thrown out the window just because someone's feelings got hurt. Whatever happened to compassion for the other people who tried just as hard as she did but weren't selected? I fail to see how shutting some people out of cheerleading somehow validates her.

I think that even in an environment where everyone can be on the cheerleading team, differences in ability will shine through and the so-called "lower-performers" will feel the heat and adapt or just drop out of the team on their own.
