I finished watching the show yesterday and it definitely does not glorify him or what he did. It's highly critical of his actions, and the actions of those who facilitated his behavior. And it puts a good amount of focus on showing how he damaged the families and communities he committed his crimes in.

He's been dead for almost 30yrs he's not getting anything from this, and the show is clear throughout the he was a monster.

Yeah, those sound like pretty fundamental differences in your beliefs and lifestyles, you should move on. It is not a good idea to partner with a non-compatible human like that.

If you're still buying a vehicle from a dealer then yeah, it's reasonable to expect to test drive it. That's literally the only reason I'd even visit a dealer these days.

Just having Sam Rockwell in it raises it several steps above being the worst in the MCU.

IM3 has the whole resolution of Tony Stark (the tech guy) recognizing he is addicted to technology and promising to never use a suit again. A promise which he instantly breaks in the very next film, negating the entire point of IM3.

Also, The Incredible Hulk (2008) is an MCU movie, and while it isnt as bad as Ang Lees Hulk from the early 00s, it still is a pretty weak superhero movie. Ed Norton is a charming enough Banner, but Liv Tyler is not a good actress, and really brings down the whole thing.

I've never been able to float, and that hasn't improved as I've gotten fatter in adulthood. Not sure why, but even if I fill my lungs with air my legs just sink down and drag me under.

I can wade pretty well and swim just fine but its certainly not something I'm great at.

If the casting director didn't like the way their relationship felt for that specific role, then that makes sense.

If the kid is supposed to hate her dad in the film, but it doesn't come across genuine in auditions, then you move on and find someone else that can do it.

The procedure just blocks sperm from getting through your vas defrens, everything else works the same. Any sperm blocked in your vas defrens just gets reabsorbed back into your body, like it does even without a vasectomy.

Haha, thanks CyricZ, I definitely haven't been as active around here as I used to be. Got an 8yo, a 4yo, and 2yo now, been having a lot of fun with these kiddos. Its a lot of work too, but we knew that going in, so no surprise there.

After our third kid my wife and I were done having more, so vasectomy was a pretty easy and reliable way to make sure we didn't have any more. More than a year and a half later and no problems to report.

Easier and cheaper than buying other recurring birth control options.

Iron Man 2 cannot be the worst, since it has Sam Rockwell in it, bringing it up quite a few places from the bottom.

I'd say Hulk (2008) is probably the worst, or maybe Iron Man 3. Iron Man 3 is kinda pointless, since Tony swears off technology and chooses to stop building/using suits, only to immediately jump 100% back into it all in the next movie.

Here in AZ we managed to turn the state purple, got Sinema in place, and she's been an utter disappointment from the get-go. It was difficult enough to even get a Dem in place, I can't imagine we can successfully manage to swap her out with an actual Democrat, I think we're just screwed.

The Netflix shows were like 20 episodes per season, but really should have only been about half that, there really was a lot of filler. In their defense, I think they were from a time when streaming services were still trying to figure out what works, and they were kind of stuck in the old television world of 20-24 episodes per season. They didnt know they could condense them down into smaller, quicker arcs.

Also, Netflix Originals has always been a kind of dumb concept. They had Arrested Development marked as an original, despite it being famously successful on a major network about a decade before. Even now, Trailer Park Boys was listed as an original despite it being created like a decade before Netflix was even founded.

As a general rule I think all police bodycam footage should always be available to the public. Their bodycams should also be running the entirety of their shifts, start to finish.

Your average retail or restaurant worker is under security cameras their entire shift, but for some reason law enforcement isnt? Doesnt make sense to me.

You can still see it with him even if you don't like the movie.

I remember watching it when it first launched, I was in high school at the time. I enjoyed it, though rewatching those early seasons recently it did feel like it took awhile to find its footing to become what it became. I don't keep up with it these days, haven't really for the last decade or so, but it was neat at the time.

No, because of COVID. Just doesn't makes sense to be going out to sit in restaurants.

I have a Plex server that Ive setup, ripping my own content onto it for my own personal use, but it absolutely does not replace other streaming services by itself. You have to pirate that content from other services, and if youre going that route, then thats another issue entirely.

Yeah, 4 days isnt a party, this is a long, romantic getaway.

Netflix and Disney+ still dont have commercials so theyre my streaming platform of choice.

We stopped watching network TV around 2010 and havent looked back, the commercials just really burned me out. I tried a Sling subscription for awhile, but the commercials there annoyed me too much. We get Hulu free with my cell phone plan, and I dislike the ads there too so I almost never watch it.

Im just burned out with commercials, especially on services I pay money for, its not worth it to me. If Netflix starts running by ads, like the rumors have suggested for years, then Ill finally cancel them but for now theyre still good in my book.

For me, I liked her background as this kid who was a big fan of heroes, and then got the opportunity to step up. It's similar to Spider-Man's "trying their best to be their best" even if they aren't your typical Avenger's level hero. Though both Spidey and Ms. Marvel do of course join the Avengers at times, and hold their own in major conflicts. Plus, Ms. Marvel leads the Champions for a good stretch, which was a neat book for a while.

I don't really care about the Inhumans in general, and since that's where she gets her powers from, I just don't care about them as much. But her attempts to lead younger heroes to be better just really struck a chord with me.

Woah, that mortgage payment is about 3x what ours is, that's some solid progress dude.

I always found her powers to be the least interesting part of her character in the comics, so I don't have a problem seeing them change it up a bit for TV. Her character is far more than just her abilities, so hopefully they tap into more of what makes her cool.

What did Disney do now?

They temporarily stopped contributing financially to the legislators who support the Dont Say Gay bill.

They previously supported those same legislators, and will resume supporting them again when the news cycle moves on from this current topic.

You can get some decent-sized NAS drives for a few hundred bucks, giving you a lot more space to work with for storage.

We have one of the Hulu packages provided through our cell service, so sometimes we watch stuff there, but its easily the worst viewing experience of any of the streaming services we use, explicitly because of the ads, so it is the least-used service for us.

I worked at a theater for a while in high school and I can assure you, nobody cares if you do that. Sure, you should go buy another ticket to see another show. Or in your example, go exchange the ticket from the film you walked out of for a ticket to the film you ended up watching instead.

But theaters really don't make their money off ticket sales, they have a better margin on concessions. So if you're there for 5-6hrs watching a couple films, if you've bought a bag of popped corn and some soda, they've made more money off you than if you had bought that second ticket.

My sister sold her house about a year ago now, and it did sit on the market for several months, with a few offers falling through. Personally I thought they were initially asking a bit high, but they eventually got down to a more reasonable range I think, and a buyer eventually worked out. It just seemed like so many folks are trigger-happy at first, but maybe they're also considering other options at the same time. So it might not be a problem specifically with your place, but that they're finding something else at the same time and moving on that.

The persistence should pay off.

By all accounts in this market, assuming you aren't asking for anything crazy over market price, you should be able to move it with another seller. Keep at it, and don't get discouraged. I know it sucks, but you'll get a buyer eventually.

I played the ezio trilogy, 3, and some of black flag. I plan on returning to black flag and probably replaying the ezio trilogy. 3 was great as well despite what people say about it. 1 was bad, I never finished it. I tried one of the newer ones, origins I think, I dont like how they changed the gameplay.

The modern day stuff is 100% the least interesting part of all of them, for me. Valhalla really takes it up another level to "really? that's what they're doing in the modern day now?". I just do my best to rush through and ignore any of those parts.

And Origins was the first modern one that leans full-on into the Ubisoft open world game, like Far Cry and such, so I can imagine that was probably where you got turned away. I like that style, but I get why folks don't care for it, so I wouldn't blame you for not doing the newer games.

The first one was basically a proof of concept, it was a bit thin on content, but they quickly got into a groove.

If you like open-world games in the vein of the modern Ubisoft development standard, then you'll enjoy almost any of them (Rogue is the only one I haven't played much of, by most accounts its the weakest of them all.)

Odyssey took up nearly 100hrs of my gaming life, it was a lot of fun, as long as you play as the sister, and not the brother. He wasn't nearly as engaging as a character.
