Why are these a thing? Seems like these things have really blown up and become one of the most popular things to sell in stores these days (even GameStop has a section of them now) and I just dont see the appeal of them. Are they supposed to be cute or something?

This topic has turned into such a fucking trainwreck. I want to look away but since I keep getting notifications it makes me keep coming back for more...

if you delelete all the posts you have in a topic you won't receive notifications for it anymore.

Ahh I see. Good to know. Also it doesnt help that I forgot I was tracking the topic before I posted in so id still be getting the notifications anyway lol. At this point its almost become entertaining (in the worst possible way) and I want to see this go all the way to 500.

I heard one clip of a random song from it and I wasn't feeling it.

Is it actually good?

Yes, and as I said in the OP, you will have a better context and appreciation for the songs if you have already seen the movie. Though I really think even without seeing the movie Rewrite the Stars is a song anyone can enjoy (the scene that it plays in really adds a lot to it though).

Great song and its not even my favorite one! You know a soundtrack is good when you can make a case for 3 or 4 different songs being your favorite!

This might be my new favorite movie soundtrack. Anyone who hasnt listened to it should give it a listen! Well, ideally if you have watched the movie first so you can really appreciate the songs!

Its one of the first movies I remember watching as a kid and is still just as good to this day. Truly one of those timeless movies that never gets old =)

Seems like the general consensus is everyone either loved it or hated it? Personally Id fall more into the love it category, though I can see why others might not have so much. I think the first half of the movie was kinda slow getting to where it was going, but I thought the second half was really good. Ill probably have to see the movie a second time to really decide how I feel about everything. For now Id at least put it above The Force Awakens, but not sure how Id rank it along with all of the others.

If the show continued into adulthood, no doubt it would have been a huge success. They ended it too early.

Yeah, thats the only real problem I had with the show. By season 3 it felt like the show
was really starting to become as good as it could have been, and at that point I couldnt help but feeling they could have done more and ran with it a bit longer.

Just finished watching the whole show from beginning to end. Of course it was never going to quite match up to the greatness of Boy Meets World, but it still turned out to be a good little show in its own right IMO and by the end I was a little bit sad to see it go.

Personally Id say yes. I havent been this excited and invested in a new console this early in its lifespan in...well, maybe ever. All it needs is for Xenoblade 2 to do well (which I think it will) to really solidify just how great this year was.

Yeah, it's been pretty expensive for me as well and I can't complain about it. I haven't had this much fun with video games in a long, long time.

I mean yeah, I've definitely been having a lot of fun this year. In some ways I feel like we're entering a new golden age of gaming simply based on how many different options there are out there. I guess the harsh reality that gaming is an expensive hobby has really set in lately. But honestly, it's worth it.

Before 2017, I only owned Xbox One and 3DS. This year I have greatly expanded on my collection and bought a Switch and PS4, as well as the SNES Classic (luckily this was just a one time price with the ability to add more games at no cost). Between all of the games I have bought on all 3 main consoles (XB1 I use as my "main" console where I buy most multi plats, PS4 I've been using primarily for exclusives, and a combination of everything on Switch) as well as still a few games here and there on 3DS, and a few more games still I plan on buying on Black Friday...I'm afraid to even attempt to calculate how much I've spent on gaming this year. While it's a really fun hobby to have (and honestly the only one I've known ever since I was a little kid) when I take a minute to sit back and really think about it, at times it can be really intimidating to have so many options and so little self control when you want to experience everything, as well as scary to think about how much money I really waste on it.

It's hilarious to me how much hate this game is getting without people giving it a chance.

I've watched the original trilogy (X-Men, X2, Last Stand) and only First Class from the newer trilogy (also I've seen Deadpool if that counts). I really want to watch the Logan movie after hearing good things about it but feel like I might appreciate it more if I catch up on some of the others first. So how should I watch the rest? If it's by order of release, it would go: Wolverine Origins, The Wolverine, Days of Future Past, and Apocalypse, and ending with Logan? I've heard the Origins movie wasn't too great so can I just skip that all together? Should I rewatch any of the others I've seen to refresh my memory on anything before watching the newer ones?
