Depends what you want.

If it's to play new AAA games then no.

If it's to play a large library of games portably or as an entry point to PC gaming then yeah.

Both can be true. Yes older games will play better on it but even the newest games youll still be able to play at 30fps for the most part. Chances are if youre buying a portable gaming system youre buying it for the portability, not because you want the most powerful thing out there.

Not if you care about power lol Steam Deck OLED definitely offers the most bang for your buck for price/performance/battery life.

At late hours it basically just feels like a large warehouse where 90 percent of employees there are in the middle of every single aisle restocking a bunch of s*** and dont care that theyre in your way. Going up to check out is also a disaster because theres only ever one check stand open resulting in very long lines because the self check out lanes are for some reason closed during those hours. Because god forbid you just want to go in to grab a few things and get out of the store as quickly as possible. I guess this is the price to pay for getting slightly cheaper prices?

Is Elemental any good? I liked Inside Out and from what I can tell this looks sorta similar to that?

Ive seen most of the live action remakes but I think Frozen 2 was the last animated Disney movie I saw. Trying to decide if any recent movies on Disney+ are worth going out of my way to watch because you never really know which Disney movies are gems and which are garbage.

Im sure thats true of other places and not just grocery stores but anytime I go shopping these days theres always very long lines and only 1 or 2 check stands are open. And Im talking around like 6-8pm when the stores are in their busiest hours. It must suck working in a busy place thats so under staffed and having to work your butt off without getting much help.

Might be a stupid question because Ive never really had a proper vacation from a job before so I guess Im not entirely sure how it works. I was always under the impression that if you take a 40 hour vacation its in place of the days you would normally work, and not taking the place of your days off.

But I come to find out that while my vacation next week was approved, they do have me working this upcoming Friday/Saturday which are my normal days off. Which I was not expecting at all because 1. That means Im now scheduled to work 7 days in a row before my vacation which was never the plan and 2. Will I be getting paid overtime now since theyre giving me more hours in addition to my 40 hours? And if thats not the case and I dont get paid overtime from it, is it worth going to my manager to try to still get my two normal days off or should I assume thats the only way theyre going to give me my vacation? Should also mention that my job has enough people, so it shouldnt be an issue of not having anyone to work those two days.

And lastly, should I expect that the following week I will go back to having my normal Friday/Saturday off so that I will then get 7 days off (5 paid, 2 unpaid) to make up for the 7 consecutive days I had to work? Thanks in advance to anyone able to help clear up some of this for me.

Starting to wonder if I should be worried? I work in hotels which is an industry that constantly depends on travel to get its business and if airports shut down then thats not a good sign for keeping hotel workers employed.

Xbox controller crapped out on me and I switched to this beauty. Loving it.

Came in to say this. Works great for a Steam Deck controller in docked mode as well as doubling as a Switch pro controller replacement.

Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix. Its still the worst movie just like its the worst book, but at least the movie is a little more enjoyable than the book.

Man the consistency made it really weird at first but once I got past that it was pretty good. Would definitely try again.

AI sounds like AI. It doesn't sound authentic at all. So the delivery of lines will sound terrible.

Thats why I said eventually, not right now.

Maybe not for live action stuff but for animated movies/shows do you think AI will eventually be good enough that it will be cheaper/easier for companies to just use AI voices instead of having to pay for voice actors?
