From what I understand this thing is pretty powerful for its size and it emulates everything up to Dreamcast really well, plus some PSP and DS too. I feel like I would have mostly used the Steam Deck for retro gaming so I think this device will be a better fit for me, though apparently this thing is also good for game streaming so Id still be able to check out some AAA steam/gamepass games in handheld form if Im curious. Also it costs less than $150 versus the $600+ I would have been paying for the steam deck so ultimately I can see getting a lot more use out of this device while saving a lot of money in the process. --- Hulkhogan1 is #AllElite brother!

However Im not entirely sure if I want to pull the trigger on it since Im mainly a console gamer and not sure how often Id use it. I mostly play PC games that arent on console or for slightly older games that I know will be better than playing the console version. But without rebuying a bunch of more recent AAA games that I already own on console Im not sure how worthwhile it would be if Im not getting the full power out of it. If nothing else I feel like I might use it as a Nintendo Switch alternative and play older handheld games that cant be played there. Or I might just use it as an emulation machine since Ive heard it can play just about everything. To anyone who has a steam deck, is it easy to use and figure things out compared to using a PC? Other than pricing are there any advantages/disadvantages of using it as my primary PC versus just upgrading my PC? Ive never felt like I need the most powerful gaming PC but I know the steam deck would be an upgrade over my current PC for the most part so Im hoping it might encourage me to do PC gaming more often. Based on all of that, do you think I should keep my order and hope that Ill get some good use out of it? Even though Im somewhat worried about not using it very often, I feel like I might regret it later on if I dont buy it when I have the chance and valve eventually stops making them, which would be when the pricing on them would skyrocket in the second hand market. Is there anyone else who was in a similar situation where they bought a steam deck mostly out of curiosity but ended up liking it a lot? I got a couple days to decide one way or another. The use of Breaking Bad flashbacks were perfectly placed as parallels to what Saul was doing then and what Gene is doing now. We finally got our Walt and Jesse appearance and it was every bit as good as it needed to be. The conversation with Mike and the chance Saul had to let it go with Walt, once again perfectly parallels the current situation (not being able to let it go with the cancer guy) to show who Jimmy really is. He just cant help himself, this is who he is, and using the Breaking Bad timeline to help illustrate that really puts things into perspective. We even got a little bit of closure of some of the fallout of Breaking Bad during the Francesca conversation, as well as a nice full circle moment with the It wasnt me, it was Ignacio line. Everything about the episode was pretty much perfect IMO and acted as a reminder who this man truly is. Hes slippin Jimmy, always has been and always will be. --- Hulkhogan1 is #AllElite brother!

hulkhogan1 08/02/22 4:15:54 AM #30	Nice touch having this episode titled Breaking Bad, because in classic Breaking Bad fashion this episode title had double meanings. It featured scenes that took place in the Breaking Bad timeline, and also illustrated how Saul/Gene just cant help himself and continues to break bad at every opportunity. I can also see signs of why the writers talked about Breaking Bad being seen in a different light after BCS. The Saul/Mike scene (quite possibly their last ever scene together) really emphasized that Saul could have simply moved on and not aligned himself with Walt. Instead he ignored Mikes advice and went to go visit Walt at the school shortly after that, which set in motion the events of the rest of the series. Makes you wonder if Saul was the real cancer all along. --- Hulkhogan1 is #AllElite brother!

Here he will reunite with Kim, who we find out used the vacuum service to return to her home state of Nebraska. hulkhogan1 07/12/22 6:12:06 AM #43	A couple thoughts about this episode and its implications for the future timeline (also why do we have to hide spoilers if the topic title already has a spoiler tag? Anyway) ~~It was nice how we got that little Easter egg with Saul starting to say It was Ignacio,~~ not me when Lalo tied him up and gagged him. All these years later from what was originally a throwaway line in Breaking Bad, and weve now come full circle. We now know exactly the context of why he would have said that line, and just to make sure there were no loose ends, Mike specifically told Saul that Lalo is not coming back and not Lalo is dead meaning that by the time hes kidnapped by Walt and Jesse, its perfectly reasonable for Saul to assume that Lalo has come back to finish the job, because in his mind theres no one else that would be after him. Now we can finally put this question to rest and properly appreciate that line from BB. Vince Gilligan is a story telling genius. Another thing that will really make future BB rewatches more interesting is knowing exactly whos buried underneath the meth lab. We as viewers will now be able to watch any BB scenes that take place there and no longer just think of it as a lab that Gus created, because now its taken on a whole new meaning. It can now be viewed as Gus crowning achievement because its where he quite literally buried his competition, and knows hes down there almost like a trophy. A Salamanca buried right underneath his own creation that was designed for him to take over their role in the first place. Its quite poetic when thought about in those terms. --- Hulkhogan1 is #AllElite brother!

Assuming you're not confusing megabits with megabytes as previously suggested, there are several factors that can result in different speeds for wi-fi. The PC's wireless card could be shit, you might be connecting to the wrong band, the Xbox might be in a position that gets a better singal. My Xbox and PC are in the same area so I dont see why it would matter that much. I guess I havent paid much attention to the wireless card so maybe that could be the issue. How are you both so incompetent with this? Use a fucking ethernet connection and it literally won't matter how far away you are. Ive literally tried running a long Ethernet cord down the stairs and all the way to the router so I could get a wired connection and my roommates got mad at me for running a long cord through the house that was in the way and easy to trip over so I had to take it away. So once again, thats unfortunately not a valid option for me. --- Hulkhogan1 is #AllElite brother!

Also wifi vs Ethernet makes a difference, I've got both wired via Ethernet to the same switch. All I know is it takes way longer for me to download anything on steam compared to console. hulkhogan1 07/02/22 6:45:19 PM #1	Like on one hand I can definitely see the advantages of PC gaming vs. console gaming. But when people talk about how great PC gaming is I feel like it paints a picture that everything will go perfectly, ignoring the fact that you have to give up a lot of conveniences you get from console gaming. In my experience from trying to get into PC gaming, there are some games that dont work that well, some games that cant be played with controller and require keyboard + mouse, internet speed seems way slower, and overall is more expensive to maintain if something goes wrong and you have to replace some parts. Compare that to a console where you just plug in and play, everything generally works the way its supposed to without needing any extra setup. Ive always just felt at home with console gaming, while trying to get into PC gaming feels like more of a chore than actually having fun. --- Hulkhogan1 is #AllElite brother!

Had lots of memories with that car (both good and s***ty ones) and I didnt realize how emotional I would be when the time came. I did upgrade to a newer better car and it was definitely time, but Ill never have another first car. hulkhogan1 05/09/22 12:34:54 AM #1	Like it wasnt really that great of a console tbh, and if I was to make a list of my all time my favorite consoles I dont know if it would even crack my top 5. But even so, there was something about it that just made me feel so...at home. Waking up and playing some Wii Sports, creating Miis, customizing my Home Screen, having BC with GameCube games, it all just felt right to me. Even with the success of the Switch, Nintendo hasnt quite been able to capture the same magic they had with the Wii IMO. --- Hulkhogan1 is #AllElite brother!

Since the pandemic Ive only been once or twice. Just feels...different now. But there was a cool little stretch that had a GameStop, Hot Topic, and a FYE store all basically right next to each other, so thats where I hung out the most. These days it feels like those stores (especially GameStop) have been taken over by Funko Pop figures. --- Hulkhogan1 is #AllElite brother!

We only like him because he has a camera behind him. This is one of the best things about the BB/BCS universe. The Howard plot continued, Kim finally met Mike as well as found out Lalo is alive, we know that Gus is putting all of his focus on finding Lalo, and Saul finally found his BB office. Plus some nice BB character cameos. It wasnt a groundbreaking episode, and Ill admit it was probably more of a set up episode for bigger stuff to happen. Makes no sense to me. Unless of course you already didnt like the person, in which case you were probably just looking for more reasons to complain about them.
