fallout NV: you literally get shot in the head and youre left for dead. Only with clues of bennies whereabouts and a mystery of who you are

fallout 4: vault dweller and your child gets kidnapped while you go into cryosleep for YEARS

Skyrim: literally about to be executed and then a fucking dragon attacks the town and prolongs your life.

and then theres Starfield, youre a boring ass miner and your job gets attacked by a pathetic group of pirates that are easily dispatched. Then this guy asks you to run an errand. Very pathetic.

the lack of exploration within each planet is pretty sad
some planets are completely unexplorable due to suit limitations. Cant explore venus at all, and the game does a poor job on explaining suit stats required to traverse each planet

only things i like so far are the space combat, and being able to dock enemy ships.

im appalled this game is getting 10/10s or 9/10s. It's definitely a 7/10 game.

Crazy how much better MGSV is in terms of aiming and shooting. And its weird because MGS4 is still a PS3 game it should be decent (same generation as halo 3 and MW4)
