One the weekends my Son has started taking up all the time on my gaming computer, so I got a TON of Zelda playing time today. I bet Nintendo makes a big DLC announcement before the end of the year and it's going to be back in the spotlight again at some point.

So much hype for diablo so i bought into it. Never played a diablo game. All my friends said they were going to be playing it.
Everyone stops after first month. None of my friends are playing the season. I feel like its a wasted purchase cause im getting bored reaching level 60 and i only have 2 characters at 50-60.

But when I look at balder's gate it doesnt seem like a game I would like. Never liked turn based stuff. And I never played dungeons and dragons.

Should I give it a shot or wait till Armored Core comes out? That seems up my ally.

All the fucking hero shooters that do this shit.

some cool animated CGI segment for their characters but the gameplay itself is ass

I can't wait for SpiderMan 2 to drop in a few months. The Miles Morales game is similar but the story is nowhere near as interesting as the 1st game.

yeah it didnt seem worth the $30 price tag. Maybe when it drops to $5 lol

Impressed with the ending. Thought it had a great emotional climax. And honestly I like peters relationship and clash with doc oc in this game more than the Spiderman 2 movie. Im kind of hoping this series becomes a trilogy and we see doc oc getting some kind of retribution.

not a huge fan of the Martin li subplot though. He felt like a one dimensional villain and his defeat was very anti-climatic

8/10 for me.

Devil May Cry (DmC)

the gameplay itself wasnt bad. But the retelling of the story was. New Dante was awful and was designed after a narcissistic project manager. The sad thing is that they couldve used the gameplay and engine to make Devil May Cry 4 as a continuation but they felt they needed to do this awful reboot.

A reboot means same IP but a complete retelling of the story. So its going to have a vast difference in themes, plot and maybe even characters. Theyre typically not sequels. You see this a lot for super hero movies. Keaton Batman, Nolan trilogy, Robert Pattinson batman etc.

when a video game reboots its kind of the same as movies. Spyro PS1 games rebooting into the more serious PS2 games is a good example.

Remake is typically the same plot and theme and characters. You will rarely see this, or even at all, in movies (because theres no point. Its most likely a reboot) but you will see this in video games due to technological advances. For video games though they maintain the key plot and theme, same characters, but often times modernized controls, gameplay and graphics. There may be a couple changes or additions here and there for dialogue and story but nothing to change the plot drastically. Good example here are the resident evil remakes.

idk what you mean by revival. You mean remaster? A remaster is the exact same movie or game but with better picture, sound, resolution etc.

disney movies often get remastered from their VHS counterpart. Good example for a remaster in games are the MGS HD remakes

they call them remakes but theyre not. Theyre just remasters. Exact same game but better quality picture.

Havent enjoyed a horror in theaters in a while (probably since midsommar)

expected it to be a college aged mindless horror, but it actually showed some depth. Didnt expect the movie to be a metaphor for addiction. Jump scares werent cheap either, had some nice tension build up.

Very good, I definitely missed out all these years. Joe Pesci is always entertaining.
