What do you mean "forgive" them? If they release good games, I'll play them. If they release bad games, I won't. Doesn't really matter how many good games vs. bad games they release. If they make 9 good games and 1 bad, I'm not playing all 10. If they release 1 good game among 9 bad ones, I'll play the good one and skip the rest.

When I did it for Ico, I learned a bunch of time-saving methods that I otherwise wouldn't have thought of doing, and it made the game more fun because usually it meant you were skipping the boring combat. I appreciate the game a lot more now, knowing how well it's designed to allow that.

Not lately, no. I guess I should get around to it.

Because SF64 was like 1 hour long and you were supposed to replay it multiple times because it had a bunch of different routes and shit, and modern gamers instead want games to be 80 hours long and then never touch it again for the rest of their life because they had to force themselves through the last 20-40 hours just for the predictable story to end.

That's not true. The skin is nutritious, but most of the nutrients like potassium and vitamin C are in the flesh. The skin does give you more fibre and iron though.

I'll add that if it has buds/sprouts you don't need to toss the whole potato, you can just remove them with a peeler the same way you'd remove the skin. might have to press in a little bit deeper but other than that the potato is totally fine underneath

Pesticides seep into the soil and then the potato's skin. Systemic pesticides are also absorbed by the parts of the plant that are above ground and then get circulated throughout the entire vegetable, but most of the pesticide content would be in the skin. Potatoes are also sprayed with chemicals after harvest to prevent sprouting. At the very least you need to wash the skin, even for organic potatoes that are grown without pesticides. But otherwise yeah, potato skins are nutritious and solanine is only a problem if the potatoes are green as far as I know. Even then, you'd probably have to eat a lot of them.

The skin would be laden with whatever pesticides they used. As for solanine, just don't eat green potatoes.
