They did, though. The fact that Snake and Liquid are not 100% genetically identical to Big Boss is even a plot point in MGS4. It's even used to explain why FoxDie killed Liquid but not Snake. And then you have Solidus, who actually is supposed to be 100% identical.

Yes, but inside my brain instead of on duolingo. Duolingo is like a mom that says everything you do is great. It lies.

Duolingo is terrible. It's too gamified and monetized, and doesn't really "teach" anything. It's a glorified flash card app, but not a good one.

e.g. Trying to learn Hiragana through Duolingo is terrible. It doesn't really teach you properly. But you can actually learn it through apps on your phone, or at least use them as a basis/supplement.

Putting aside it not being how genes work, why did they intentionally make one inferior clone and one superior one? I don't remember anything saying they had to have an inferior one for a superior one. And why do it at all? You could just make proper clones like Solidus.

The idea was to isolate all of the bad genes and put them in one clone, leaving all the superior genes for the other clone, making that second clone an even better soldier than Big Boss. It didn't work because Solid Snake's experience as a soldier was a much bigger factor than Liquid's genes. In other words, soldier memes > soldier genes.

The thing with Kojima's predictions is that they're not really predictions, he's just describing things that are already happening, but not many people know about them until 10 years later. Like MGS2's "predictions" for the internet are really just descriptions of the internet in the 90's. But the internet really wasn't that popular in the 90's, compared to now when everyone has smartphones.

One thing I never understood about zombie movies is, what are they going to do once they take over the world? Because eventually they're gonna run out of brains to eat. Did the zombies think that far ahead? They'll just starve. Not very bright if you ask me.

4 is basically a direct sequel to both 2 and 3, so yes. Important to play 1 before 2 for the same reason.

I liked both Shenmue 1 and 3 a lot. There's a huge section of Shenmue 2 that I don't really like, bookended by a great beginning and ending. But that ending is really the start of Shenmue 3.

People who say Shenmue 3 ended on a cliffhanger are missing the big picture and don't actually like Shenmue because they don't want to see it continue. Shenmue was always meant to be a longer saga, not a Hollywood trilogy where you beat the bad guy at the end.

I never go to the gym, but if it was free maybe I would. I'd much rather a home gym setup if I had the space.

I never go to fast food places, and still wouldn't even if free.

Either way it's something I'd probably never take advantage of.
