Back in the late 90s, I set my computer time to 2028 for fun, but then whenever I sent an email for some reason the person who received an email would see my email as having been sent in 2028.

haha. reminds me of when a guy on the death by stereo forums caught his friend wearing his mom's bra and panties while humping a pillow. the guy (forum guy) called this pampky. he would always yell it (pampky) out loud during d.b.s. concerts after that. i didnt know the guy in person but me and my friends used the word a lot once we learned it. still comes up every now and then. good old pampky.

Ok fine. Theres this girl in class who I really, really like who had a boyfriend so I didn't pursue. I got back together with my ex because literally every girl in my class had a boyfriend and I was scared of being alone. Now today I find out the girl I like is suddenly single and won't go out with me now because unlike me she isn't a terrible person.

I had a similar situation many years ago.

I was about to break up with my ex, so I asked out a girl I had a crush on. The girl said no because she didn't want to be a rebound.

A few months later, I was still in touch with my ex, but then that girl I asked out started hanging on with me more. Then I got with her. And shortly after I got back with my ex. And I had two girlfriends at the same time, which I had no idea how to handle. I was so overwhelmed that I fell into a deep depression and managed to convince both of them that I needed space to recover by myself from my depression. Neither found out what was going on.

It felt like shit, tbh.

Well, then we have to define life. What is life after death?

Clearly, our physical body is dead.

So if we are still alive, then what kind of life is it? It's obviously not a carbon-based lifeform or any kind of "life" as it's known in science, ie, the kind of life that we are on the lookout for when scouting for planets in which water might exist in liquid form.

If there is such a thing, then clearly it's beyond our scientific understanding.

But then maybe this is another way to see it?

If I am alive at time A, then die at time B, there will always be a place in the time-space continuum where I am alive, that is at time A. In that sense, we are always alive because even after we die there is a point in time in which we were alive.

Devaluing guns. Gun sales skyrocket whenever there's a mass shooting. Why would sociopathic business practices want to end something that generates so much revenue and free advertising at the low cost of human lives. Children's lives.

Teach the society that guns aren't cool and it'll be easier to take them away. Sales drop so pro gun businesses can't support their politicians when an anti gun business makes them an offer.

Guns being readily available makes it easier to do mass shootings, but it can't be that simple.

There's just too many of them, over and over again.

I think perhaps part of the problem is that many of those shooters (and I don't know if it's the case for that Florida guy, but it's true for a lot of them) are very isolated people with mental issues who just eventually snap. There's got to be a reason why so many young people snap like that.

Maybe, just maybe, if some of them felt that their families and peers would be there for them and would support them if they talked about their issues, at least some of those massacres may not have happened. It's not about feeling compassion for murderers, but it's about trying to find an explanation.

Mental illness is still very taboo in society and a lot of people who have problems just don't talk about it and don't seek help. So things just get worse and worse and they isolate themselves until no one can reach them anymore. Then who knows what happens. Some of them just live in misery, some end up overdosing on pills, and others, well, do things like that.

Don't forget that I don't "give" grades. I just calculate your grade. Your grade is earned in the different parts of the course and I have absolutely no liberty to change it to fit your needs. I can request a change of grade only if a mistake was made, and I have to justify my request to the Administration of the University, and my justification has to be valid.

Don't send me messages for now. I have no time to answer them. I have to send the table of marks/gardes to all sections first.
To the 1 or 2 of you who wrote "I was absolutely shocked to see my grade...", bear in mind that I was absolutely shocked to see your answers in the final exam. The grade you got is the one earned by your performance in the course. Once again, I don't decide what anyone's grade is.
