When you make choices as Sean it's just Delta controlling the robot. And for other team choices you're using Delta mind control through the cameras.

I legitimately love the Q reveal - nothing will ever be as good as the 999 DS reveal but this one is really great IMO.

Especially because it's literally the same reveal as in 999 and VLR and Ever17

Carlos heroically arrives in his firefighter getup, and then Akane and Junpei are mad at him because this is the doomed timeline. Akane then decides the only possible course of action here is to go through the VLR gameplan, and sorry for rushing through this but honestly I don't buy these actions from the characters, the writers clearly had an endpoint here and shoved the characters there by any means necessary. Just shift to another history like you always do!

This was the funniest part of the reveal imo. The entire VLR was just a dumb mistake in one of like 40 of ZTD's timelines. I think the writers treated it with the appropriate (lack of) seriousness.

That said I do think like Timothee Chalomet was on b8 at some point.

Fact is, this is the most talked about movie of the year. People will pay money to see it because of that.

Yeah I subscribed since day 1 pretty much. Went on hiatus during covid for the most part since I had seen everything, but just came back for more Game Changer and Fantasy High S3.

I do highly recommend Fantasy High S1 even if you're not interested in D&D. It was way ahead of the curve, basically the 2nd real play show after Critical Role and way higher production, and it's Brennan firing at 250% energy for hours straight.

But you also really need to watch all the serialized originals. They're all great, Ultramechatron Team Go especially is just flawless. They will also probably never make any of those again unfortunately. So you're really missing out if you skip them.

My friend is making one called Cell to Singularity which looks cool

The answer to that probably isn't money. They could've made something much better and more profitable will the same or less money. The answer is plain old corporate dysfunction. High turnover at all levels, layoffs, unchecked egos, etc.

Just rush through the samey parts, it can be pretty fast. And hacking does a ton of damage so you can kill things faster too.

Looked it up and it seems almost exactly like mafia? Post death conversation is cool but that doesn't work well with scanning roles. The ability to do sidebars is the most interesting thing.

It might be that it lets you run a more interesting game of mafia right off the bat. The host rules especially seem to encourage more host involvement and modkill potential, like some of the more advanced roles we play with. But it still seems like there's a learning curve that will prevent new players from having fun. I've never been able to host a B8 style mafia game IRL (except with actual B8ers) for that reason.

This is a trap because you need to support a live game for months and years to actually make decent profit off of it. And that's very expensive and risky and leads to layoffs when the game is canceled because why would you need the live service team anymore?

Only a few devs can make prestige non-live open worlds like BOTW and Spiderman. Halo couldn't even do it.

I think he really values putting you into the mindset of the characters, even when it's negative, like what he did with chicken sandwiches and kick the can in Ever17. So he would want the player to feel the misery and desperation and eventually huge relief of the 1/216, since that is what C team actually had to do canonically.

I like all the reload OST versions I've heard, even if they are a bit different. The originals are equally great too, but it's nice to hear the extra bits in the reload versions.

3's music in general is not as exciting as 4/5, but it feels way more holistic and iconic. It helps that the story is the best so you really feel the music by the end. 4 and 5 have awesome tracks but they are kinda individual. The most common tracks you hear in 3 are some of the best too (Iwatodai, Mass Destruction, Pawlonia Mall). I'm also realizing that some of my favs are P3P-exclusive, although those def have more of a 4 feel. The original 3 ones still hit the hardest.

I guarantee Uchikoshi wanted the dice roll to be real but someone finally convinced him to be reasonable

If they can replicate that with this movie then they will officially make Shitty Marvel a genre that they will pump out every year. It will be a challenge to get the lowest RT score. Fans will love it. They'll eventually make an Avengers movie that features all the characters.

The story of the deaths is likely just a metaphor then, not a driving motive.

Could be a complex sort of motive

Live service makes a ton of sense for the game, but not for Nintendo. They don't have the right hardware support for it, and neither the software support. In the next gen maybe.

They could even start to port the game to PC, mobile, or even streamers like Netflix if they go the live service route.

By this definition there will definitely be a bunch of new smash games. But it's gonna be very much the same design and art style and "content" as Ultimate and probably still called Ultimate, which is unlike what any previous smash game has done.
