They've been really creative with the recap episodes, honestly. They usually frame them in a way so that there's a decent bit of new material and they often feel like fun self-contained adventures moreso than just clip shows like usual recap episodes tend to be.

LGBT people usually have to look to things like that for representation given the lack of it otherwise.

And there are often hints here and there. A lot of people assume that every single character is straight until 100% proven otherwise, even if the character is implied to be LGBT, and they'll get mad at anyone suggesting anything else.

Ultimately, shipping and whatnot isn't for me, but I understand why people do it, and I think it's really silly when people get mad if you suggest that characters with unconfirmed sexualities and with hints that might point to them being LGBT, could be LGBT.

Okay, this seems a fine enough topic to ask this in. As someone who hasn't really touched the series since reading a text LP of the second game back before it was even localized and is about to get back into it with Decadence.

1) Isn't there an anime or something set between the second and third games?
2) What is Ultra Despair Girls exactly, and is it needed?
3) Anything else I need to know?

There's an anime, Danganronpa 3, that wraps up the plot of DR1 & 2. V3, the third game, is its own thing entirely.

UDG fills in a lot of missing pieces between 1 and 2 and the lore or the world, and it's pretty crucial to the anime.

If you've finished the first two games and you want to continue that plotline, I'd probably just look up a LP of UDG and watch the story stuff (it's a pretty eh game but with a solid plot), and then watch the anime. If not, you can go ahead to V3. The anime sucks pretty hard.

I actually really like the license exam arc, especially the first round. It has a fantastic moment for Aoyama in episode 56~ish.

Gundham is easily my favorite in the series.

I've softened on Hiyoko a little bit over time, but I found her annoying when I first played DR2. I'd probably bump her up if I redid the tier list, but this is a bit old.

I didn't like Byakuya that much as the 'rival' when others did it better. He's okay, but not my favorite.

Kyoko was just portrayed as too perfect and got really boring for me. Of the "Game-designated waifu" characters, she was easily my least favorite and she didn't land at all.

It's actually kind of amusing, because I've looked for it physically a few times, but it's been sold out everywhere I've looked. I don't have Amazon Prime right now, so I was holding off on ordering it in hopes that I could just find it in a store, but nobody seems to have it. I was thinking that I was having bad luck on this one and was just going to bite the bullet and eat the extra shipping costs and whatnot, when I learned that.

And yeah, it's really cool that it's the premium edition. It has some really really cool stuff in it.

Taylor definitely has some severe issues, and likely a lot of self-loathing about his sexuality. I do feel bad for him on that level, but what he did was really fucked up.

Yeah, I just happened upon it by chance and then later discovered that it's sold by the bottle pretty commonly. I usually keep some onhand because it goes well with a ton of stuff.

Amusingly, I just finished a run like that for Binding Blade. It was a video series, and a silly one, but it was a lot of fun.

Sadly the views bombed, but it was an entertaining way to play FE.

You can add a mic as a source like everything else. Add an "Audio input" source and choose your mic.

I'd try some basic recording of you playing something and talking before streaming, just to get a sense for the audio levels and how you might need to audio balance, by the way. It can be a bit tricky to adequately balance that, so I'd record a minute or two of just some basic gameplay and talking to determine if the audio levels need to be adjusted.

The camping trip arc is one of my favorites in the entire series as well. I love the action and drama, and how it focused on 1-B, which is semi-rare. A few minor characters got a chance to shine a bit in it, too.

Everything I've heard about it has been negative. The consensus seems to be "It tries to be a really faithful remake, but it loses a lot of style in the process and feels both dull and pointless since it tells exactly the same story", roughly.

I love/hate Aoyama. He's so weird, but he has one of my fave moments in the series lol And I love how he's always aware of where the camera is.

He's honestly one of my favorites, if not my outright favorite character. I find his absurdities to be really endearing and hilarious, and his big moments are great.

It was on purpose.

Aoyama is largely a pretty unimportant character, but he does get some really fun moments across the series. He can step up when he really needs to.

From a story structure perspective, I get it. For stories that are a bit of a slower buildup and don't have any action for a little while, it's a way to insert some action early on as a hook without needing to break the story to get it.

It's more to do with audience expectations than anything.

I have to ask, what does your favorite/least favorite list look like, post-tournament? I feel like that arc really let the side characters shine quite a bit, and it's where I started to love Aoyama, Tokoyami, and especially Todoroki a lot.

Rentals were honestly a fine idea, especially for movies. I don't really actively seek out watching a movie all that often, and it is/was a fine way of just watching a movie a single time without a bigger commitment.

Games, a bit less so, but it wasn't that bad of a model for shorter games or to grab something to play in multiplayer with a friend or something. Sure, a lot of games were too long to be a great idea to rent, but there were some games that worked well for it.

Does this re-release contain all of the DLC content?

I played Skyrim on 360 ages ago, but I never got the DLC or anything, and I've vaguely wanted to play it again. Assuming that the new version has everything, I'd actually consider getting it again.

I don't mean balance in terms of who is the best, just in terms of how most of the powers come with drawbacks or requirements, IE, Momo requiring lipids, Aoyama getting a stomachache, Tokoyami being affected by the time of day, etc. I felt like it was an interesting approach to superpowers, and a lot of characters have different drawbacks or need certain conditions to use their powers optimally. I always felt like that was a really strong aspect of it.

MHA shines in its world, how it balances its powers, and its side cast, IMO. The story has a tendency to meander a bit, and a lot of arcs are hit or miss, but the overall show is fun enough that it's a really fun ride.

Best characters, at least the ones introduced early on:
Aoyama/belly button laser.
Todoroki/hot & cold.
Tokoyami/bird head.

Fun fact with Aoyama: he has a running gag where he's camera aware and will often pose for the camera in background shots and stuff. It's really funny, and it's worth looking out for because it happens a lot.
