Huh? I don't get it. I know there are shitty driver's everywhere, but what the fuck does Vietnam have anything to do with my post? "Upset" is a really strong word for how I felt about what I saw. It was just an observation while I was (and stick with me on this) sitting in traffic. Because you know, you umm...see cars in the intersection and whatnot when you're waiting for the light to turn green. Do you really think I was frothing at the mouth like some rabid dog and couldn't function throughout the rest of my day?

Or do people like you only post on Gamefaqs to spew sewage out of your mouth with flippant comments? Actually...just forget it. The more people like you that continue to exist on this planet, the more I realize why Noah only let animals on the ark. @Glob

Edit: Also, I really hate that once someone makes a comment, the topics can't be locked for 5 minutes. Why is this always a thing? It just gives others a chance to reply back and prevents you from immediately locking it. So you have to keep waiting but people will keep just bumping it up over and over again. I was sitting in traffic yesterday, and the guy to my left in the other lane had a green arrow. Instead of turning left at the green arrow, he just continues straight through the intersection and goes right through the red light. Almost hitting another car, lol.

What the heck? Too bad a police officer wasn't there. They would have been pulled over on the spot.

It definitely feels like there's no limit to how horrific the atrocities are.

You hear about something horrific and you're like - "Welp, that was absolutely fucked. But hopefully it doesn't get any worse than that".

But they just keep one upping it with how unspeakably awful these acts are. Some of it just feels beyond comprehension.

I recently watched Don't Breathe for the first time. I thought it was pretty alright. Intense as heck, and even though I didn't find any of the characters likeable aside from Rocky, I don't think they were meant to be. Money was insufferable and I didn't feel bad for him at all.

But that scene where the old guy attempts to impregnate Rocky with his own semen f***ed me up, lol. Probably one of the most f***ed up scenes I've seen in quite a while. Especially when there's a closeup and you can see hair in it, lol. And that weird rant where he talks about there being no God.

I wonder how audiences reacted back when this movie came out. Must have been quite the cinema experience had I seen it back then.

I'm talking about the true final boss. I know a lot of Kirby games have some pretty sinister final bosses, but this really takes the cake. That thing basically looks like a biblically accurate angel. And the music is extremely dramatic, and there's that blood red background.

The only bad thing is the fight is over way too quickly. But yeah...I forgot how fucked Kirby lore is.

I knew someone was going to point it out that I said "all of us". I was originally going to change my topic title to something far less including of everyone. But since I can't go back and change my topic title, it's whatever.

And yes, I'm aware that not every single person on the planet thought it was going to be WW3.

I'm talking about back in early 2022. A lot of people (myself included) were really, really anxious that it would be the start of WW3. I even have a few friends who thought it was the end of the world. Not that I blame anyone for being anxious during that time or anything since no one really knew what was going to happen. I'm just saying.

And yes. I know the war itself is still terrible regardless, with the devastation and countless loss of life. But I think we've pretty much all calmed down and have realized it was never going to be some world ending apocalyptic doomsday threat.

I have a Christian friend who gets offended at anything even remotely horror related. I'm not saying you have to like the horror genre, but it's so annoying how he labels everything that's even slightly spooky as "demonic".

Yeah. Crazy that you're not even halfway through the game at that point. Maybe like 25 to 30% percent.

Oh, and fighting that boss three times (the one you put in spoiler tags) was terribly tedious.

Back in "the day" when something happened, it was more restricted to the local newspaper and only the nightly news.

But now, we all become instantly aware of something the moment it happens. Technology and/or social media basically gives everyone 24/7 access to the horrors of the world and every live piece of footage.

I'm talking about very recent events in the Middle East, with the attack/genocide on the refugee camp a few days ago. Does anyone else feel numb about it all?

That doesn't mean I don't care. But what I mean is that as a human being, I just feel like I'm just kind of at a loss for words at this point. What is there for me to even say?

I hate the atrocities, I hate feeling so powerless in the face of pure evil, etc. I'm just so...numb at this point to these acts that are nothing short of an abomination. Sometimes I feel ashamed of being human when I see how we treat each other.
