I'm not foolish enough to do it no matter how much I love spicy food. But I was reading some horror stories on Reddit a lot of people said it felt like a nuclear bomb had went off in their intestines and it made them sick for hours. I've even seen a streamer do the challenge and she vomited later.

So...has anyone here done the challenge? What was the end result? Quite literally, lol.

I'm not paying that much money for a single potato chip

Decided to split half of one with a co-worker. The heat took a minute to kick in, but when it did, it was miserable. There was no milk, so I tried half of a bagel to try and absorb all of the spice and oils. Instead, it felt like my stomach was ripping itself apart for two hours.

Nah, these challenges are dumb to me. I'm not the biggest spicy lover either.

Why would I torture myself for hours?

Nah love spicy food, but not gonna even subject my stomach and butt to the aftermath of all that. Im too old for that shit.

I haven't found anyone willing to do it with me. Otherwise I absolutely would.

Dayum, after googling it I learned that a 14 year old died literally hours after the attempting the challenge.

They're banned in my country cause they're too close to being like pepper spray. Or something.

I've done it once. I'm really into spicy food and bought 4 or 5 around 2018, back when they finally restocked them. I gave away some to friends and still have a couple. You open up the bag and you have this crazy black shit all over your fingers and really start to question if this should go into your mouth haha The unexpected part as you are chewing the chip is how it coats the entire inside of your mouth, I've never had the underside of my tongue burn like that. I love hot stuff but I dont think I'd ever volunteer to try it again. Eating it wasn't that bad but the stomach pain about 30 minutes later was pretty intense. My knife gut o meter would guess there is an entire pepper dusted on each chip.

One Chip Challenge is death, straight up.

I guess you really CAN'T eat just one.

I ate half of it alongside a work buddy. It hurt my stomach and destroyed my guts

It always good to go in with the correct attitude for the situation.

No but I have eaten a wing so hot I had to sign a waiver. The initial heat in the mouth goes away after about 15 minutes. Two hours later I was writhing on the floor of the bathroom of a friends house. I did vomit eventually. I had to have someone drive me home where I then continued to writhe on the couch for probably another 45 to 60 minutes.

I did it once and it was whatever. Chip wasn't tasty at all and the spice was immediately overwhelming in a fun way. Definitely something to try and dare friends or family members with hahsha.

Heard someone died which led them to discontinue the chip, which sucks imo.

Never tried it. Years ago at work leadership asked for incentives to try to improve productivity. I threw out that our Supervisor should do the One chip challenge if goals were met. He was pretty cocky about it because he was Jamaican and used to spicy stuff but later backed off. It never came to be because we could never find them on sale, they were sold out. I would have tried it too out of sympathy for throwing the suggestion but probably would have ended up missing work for a few days or in the hospital.

You know, I've never had this problem. I might have thick gut lining or something.

I've done it once just to do it. It wasn't so bad in the moment, but the aftermath cause such a ring if fire, if I had been dropped in the ocean we'd have a few new landmasses I'm sure.

My wife did it once, and spent hours sick on the floor, miserable.

I think I won't do that, then. I ate some chicken soup with ghost pepper flavor a little while ago, and it was so hot I kept having to stop for 5 minutes after eating a little bit of it.

A friend of mine did it once and as a gesture of solidarity I dragged my finger across the chip first and wiped the dust on my tongue and gums. Even that was very uncomfortable.

Did it in either 2020 or 2021 with 5 other coworkers and my stomach felt like it was twisted into a knot twice in half an hour. Two of us went the hour without eating or drinking anything while the others got sick lol

Ex did it the following year and got sick within 10 minutes.

I did the one chip and the fuego challenge. The fuego was a piece of chocolate infused with black reaper. They were hot. My brother in law eats the chips like they are nothing. He is an animal.
