| davidponte 04/29/20 8:18:32 AM #343 | Bahamut got me with mega-flare the first time around too, more so because everything preceding it was very simple on normal and so I wasn't expecting to be completely wiped out by the attack that I didn't prepare for. When I got sent back to the highway I nearly turned the game off, but if you skip everything you can it's only 10-15 minutes lost at worst. I'm super thankful that if you lose to Sephiroth you start right at him. I had my full setup on Tifa and Aerith, including Aerith being the one with Cure and Manawall, and then when I got Barrett and Tifa I was legitimately fucked. Had to die, hit the menu, and move everything to Barret. --- The final Undisputed Champion in UCA history. |

| davidponte 04/28/20 5:54:44 PM #173 | So in the last topic, near the end, I got incredibly tilted with some BS RNG as usual, and that plus a combination of the expansion kind of falling flat for me allowed me to make the decision to finally start seriously trying to climb the ladder in Gwent for the first time. Just made it to pro rank, which is the equivalent of legend, after going 111-39 (nearly 75%), starting in the bottom half of the ladder, and I did it cycling through 4 different decks too! Felt good not to tilt off the face of the earth after losing because it was almost always due to getting outplayed and not RNG. Nowhere else to post this so I did it here, I'll go back to silently not posting about card games now. --- The final Undisputed Champion in UCA history. |
