"Top 3 Pens prospect" probably isn't as good as it sounds considering they have one of the worst prospect pools in the league right now, but yeah, by all accounts Hallander could be a solid NHL player.

"Kapanen for a 1st" is solid. Getting someone who could even theoretically be an NHL player seems almost unnecessary on the Pens' part.

I've also just hopped back on to get the rest of the trophies, but I kind of did it backwards. I finished the level/ap grind, did all of the combat simulator stuff, including Pride and Joy, and now just need to coast through hard mode from the start with everything maxed and the best equipment.

I think what really gets me here is that the defense and goaltending, which always ends up being the issue, has never been the issue in this series. Fred has given up some soft ones and it might be time to move on, but that's not why they lost.

You have all the talent in the world on offense and they didn't show up. You can upgrade your D core all you want, but there's no upgrading what they already have up front, so where do you even go from here?

Which is of course understandable. It's not like they're paying 4 forwards $40 million to score goals.

I'm not 100% positive but I think the Yotes scored more goals today than they did over the course of the entire season.

I'll say that as someone who doesn't stream but watches 6-8 hours of Twitch a day, both actively and in the background, too many ad breaks is a recipe for casual viewers to leave the stream.

I pay for Twitch Turbo now because I couldn't handle the ads on PS4 when browsing, but as a casual viewer who hops around streams, I would be very discouraged if I clicked on a stream, had to sit through a pre-roll ad, then right after got hit with another ad. I actually stopped trying to discover new streams for awhile before getting Turbo because it just didn't seem to be worth my time to have to sit through so many ads when trying to watch small bits of streams.

Obviously you can't compare yourself to a larger streamer, but many of them either don't run ads at all, or only run them at the end of streams, partly for viewer retention but mainly because the ad money is significantly less worthwhile than the sub/donation money. On the lower end though, the ads are definitely going to make a difference for you. Just something to think about!

I've never thrown my controller but I definitely have slammed it on my chair and bed more than a few times.

Just got around to watching Dunkey's review and was pleasantly surprised with what he had to say about the game.

So it definitely leans into the puzzles then for combat. I might have to watch some more gameplay before making a decision because I'm big on "action adventure" and "very light RPG components", but "puzzle" is my least favorite genre of game.

I keep wanting to come back to this for a hard mode playthrough and the platinum trophy, but some of the chapters kind of drag on a little too long. CH17 in particular before the boss rush at the end was just straight up a bad time for me gameplay wise, and I don't really want to have to deal with that again.

I've heard that the speedrun skips entire chapters completely, I wonder if that'd be possible to do in a regular run, or does the game not count it as beating a chapter for the hard trophy?

Have any of the reviews touched on the difficulty? I find myself bouncing off of a lot of the non-platformer Nintendo stuff just because I struggle to not fall asleep while playing with how much hand holding and how easy the games are.

If it's not going to require me to think then I'll probably pass.

I actually feel like I've been more in the middle here as I never once claimed that those who didn't play the game have less valid opinions, but rather opinions that could have been different than those that played the game because I personally feel as if that makes a difference.

Seems odd to pinpoint a specific point that I made that is entirely irrelevant to make some sort of other point.
