I wear them quite frequently, I've got scars on my legs that I don't like showing clearly, and while I found a brand that works for me, for the most part they are pretty uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable? Pantyhose were a great invention, infinitely more comfortable than girdle, garters, and hose. Wonderful back in the days when skirts were required for school or any public occasion.

Poll doesn't make sense. Summer or Winter?

55F° in the winter to save on heat. Easy to wear a sweater.

I don't run the A/C except on 100F°+ days in the summer, electricity costs too much. Window fans are a lot cheaper to run. And smarter to acclimate to the heat, anyway.

It's not about how many days a week you drive so much as it's about how long you've been driving in general.

Master? Decades of driving a variety of vehicles, motorcycles, sports cars, full-sized cars, vans, light and heavy trucks, in all kinds of weather and terrain. Front drive, rear drive, mid-engine. Racing is helpful, too, in learning the limits of adhesion, over-and-understeer, etc.

A friend's husband is a professional photographer specializing in dance photography.

Action photos require angle, composition and timing, with an understanding of the type of dance. To get one good photo of, say ballet, he takes hundreds of shots.

I've run a camera for him for archival cinematography of major dance concerts. My job is mainly riding the brightness level and field of view of a single camera, but his skill is in setting up the cameras for the best angles and in editing the footage from the various cameras afterward to make a professional record of the show.

Certainly a lot of knowledge, effort, and art involved.
