It's funny because for the first 20 minutes or so, maybe a bit less, they got a break when Grealish went off injured, City looked like a team about to win 6-0. Yet two of the City goals were a bit lucky in injury times. Overall very good performance for 70 minutes. Our goal was started by a mistake from Ederson but that doesn't take anything away from how good it was! Kicking out Galatasaray fans who thought it would be them against United and we were a walkover (despite being the higher seed of the two of us) was just as satisfying as kicking out United lol. Wonder if we could've gotten more points from this current form Bayern.

Recent form still matters even if European nights are different. Arsenal had a brief period of struggling to score goals at least goals not from set pieces. I'd be shocked if they don't advance. I have them as third favorites to win it all with whoever is fourth being a bit distant currently.

Oh and I read that game crashing is a PS5 issue, it happened to me before. Twice in the same place so I hoped it was just then. This was actually in the same area, the hole in City Ruins.

I have wanted a topic like this for a while. I watch both Premier League and LaLiga very regularly (and the Danish Superliga but yeah) and follow Serie A and Bundesliga to some degree too.

Biggest moment of the year for me is obviously FC Copenhagen making it out of a Champions League group. That's huge. Drawing City sucked because I think we could've scared some of the other group winners, Sociedad, Dortmund, even Barca, but City is too good. Still, it's been 13 years since a Danish team (the same one) made it out of the group stage and this was a much tougher group.

I'll consider them PL favorites until it's impossible for the them to lose it lol.

Leverkusen winning is phenomenal. Harry Kane curse being funny aside, it's good to have varying winners in the big leagues.

Ha, I have a pretty good memory of such things so it didn't take that long. With the meta about not being the same people, it probbaly helped. Mislynched is what I care about it though, which is hard to be as scum.

And me getting lynched early was super ideal if we had planned something with it. It would've pissed me off in a lot of games lol.

Weird is not a bad thing, although his place in the story does seem a bit... out of place I suppose.

I wonder if we just use vanillaizer on JC the first night if Corrik dies instead of me. It's potentially a strong role but the 1 time limit (which obviously needs to be there) also means it's better if it survives a few days.

If Death survives we kill red and poison wallz. Ulti is still seen going nowhere that night. Red shoots either FD or Death, doesn't matter too much, other one likely gets lynched. Then we kill JC the following night for sure.

Can Ulti win Ulti vs Chang vs Lea vs Ben? Not for certain but definitely a much much greater chance, the latter two were a strong part of getting Chang lynched this time. Helps we get rid of JC a day before when he decided to pull an all timer this game. Also Wallz dying looks much less weird, needed to get poison off on someone red wouldn't protect while still getting rid of red at the same time.

Yeah I really think lynching Death over SBell was the game winning move.

I gave it 8. The highs are incredible all time moments. The flaws are are clear enough to keep it from the top. I had an absolute blast playing it back in the day and flaws becoming more apparent as you look back takes nothing away from that experience. Replaying the franchises a few years ago, still had a blast.

I have done all side-quests available which just barely put me at the 80% required for the trophy (think you could've missed one at this point). Emil's Memories had a sweet ending and a trophy too. He's weird.

We did indeed try to poison Lea day 1 if that hasn't been said.

We also tried to move with Ulti night 1 but were told he couldn't. Sultan thought that was obvious from the kidnap. I'm still not sure if Wallz tried to bluff anything about the first night.

Anyway, I think that's all commentary I had. It's fun playing with you all I wish I had more time to do so. I hope next time whenever that is to draw town that actually gets to live a little bit.

This was probably the best post all game that wasn't a joke post.

It's so annoying. You can't lynch the weak players because it's unfair, they get lynched too much. You can't lynch the strong players because they might get killed N1. You can't lynch the inactive players because it's too uncertain. Can't lynch Ulti or he's big mad. Can't lynch power claims, no matter how vague. Who are you even "allowed" to lynch D1.

Seriously. While we did end up just lynching who we thought was scum day 1. Meta BS arguments like that was probably the only non-fun part I had. It's pure luck that it turned out to be right with most of the time this game (which it always will, most people are town duh). JC very accurately pinned my weak points, I didn't have a good day, it helped getting me killed. Lea accurately was right I claim as town there, even if I at that point chose roll over on purpose to die over my two scummates. The defends on everyone else in contention was trash though.

I think as a scum team two things kind of got us, mostly the second. First was that that vanilla thing on day 1 actually was a town clearing, we did not know about renamed roles. We had one that was, but a role pm example of vanilla would be great. Death was fast enough to get a fake from Sultan when asked about it. I think if I had been more around I'd probably figure out everyone involved was vanilla, but that also put us in a spot where the most town looking people were all vanilla. I did correctly insist we didn't do anything to SBell because he was vanilla. MZero fooled us though we kinda thought his lack of care was because he was nothing interesting lol.

The second thing that got us was the drawn players. We all had deja vu from the team itself and I am not claiming to be the new SBell who is the new MZero because it has been a literal year since I last had a long town game. Either I'm shot early regardless of role or I'm scum, which I've been thrice in a row now. On top of that, Corrik and I couldn't be around much. I suggested pregame to do some high high high reward gambit because I knew I wouldn't be able to be around too much. No one responded though. It was a blessing to die d1 becuase at least two of the other days I couldn't even keep up without posting. My schedule is probably just to inconsistant at the moment for mafia unfortunately.

As an extra to that, I 100% fight my lynch d1 if I'm not scum and the other two candidates also aren't. I saw Wallz call me unlynchable a few times. Not to take anything away from getting me then, I didn't plan on dying, but I very purposely chose to not claim and not say anything when Lea threatened to lynch me if I didn't because I thought me dying there was a better outcome than either of my scummates. You can see telling Ulti that choice in scum chat as well. Now Corrik turned out to not be able to be around at all either, I wasn't fully aware yet at the time that would be every day, but yeah. We also initially thought Corrik got lynched because Lea was late but then Sultan explained votes counted up until the stop. Voting Corrik over Ulti was also an acitivity choice from my side, Ulti didn't look good before d2.

Congrats town, we were pretty well aware we lost when Drath was lynched over SBell.

JC, this was your best game I can recall, hat is off to you buddy, you nailed basically everything.

Azumarill was relevant in competitive yeah exactly because of huge power belly drum, but if that's what you want to bass it on, Tyranitar, Skarmory and Blissey have been the big names.

I mean, it never truly is for any gen (though some have better guesses than others) but it won that google poll a few years ago that was pretty big.

I always expected it to do that just like Switch did.

I guess I only have the forest zone left before going back to the point of no return. That will not be today though and unfortunately also not before Sunday.

Wandering Couple gave a really good pod program, that one could have been nice on the first playthrough as well. Oh well.

Bunch of quests that wasn't around for the 2B playthrough coming up here as well. Also got a chance to do Machine Examination 2 again, another one I got locked out of. How many times do you have to talk to that big guy? The only other thing I could've completed at this point would be Emil's Memories I'm pretty sure. This includes giving that scienties enough money, as money haven't really been an issue lately, I've bought and upgraded everything I can.

I went for fast travel first. It's interesting that Adam and Eve keep their levels in this run unlike everything else. It meant I beat Adam thrice in his monologue.

I have beaten the amusement park and gotten to Pascal. This is where the Wandering Couple quest became available again. Anything previously done has been completed. Some new ones as well, I'm not gonna prioritize them very much before getting fast travel but I did help a mother that had her son lock himself in... twice. I also beat the remaining Robo Dojo quests thanks to hacking.

Point of no return would be the same right? When you go to the flooded area, they get locked.

My hold back there is wanting to find those chests I can now hack open, which I generally don't recall the locations of.

Hacking is strong yeah, I took down one of the gold bots with it I previously just fled from.

All the DLC amiibo releases have been strecthed a lot, it's not just this one, it's just the last one.

I can go get mine from midnight and I'll be happy that my Smash collection is finally complete, it's been a hassle at times lol.

It was a problem in the first playthrough how little non-normal moves we had for the ghost tower iirc, dig at least helps with that.

I'm mostly curious to see if we learn more about the universe and what has happened and the yohra desserters and their reasons, which potentially ties together, I was surprised A2 never returned again after the fight wasn't finished, that has got to come up again. But so far this is mostly 9S' perspective of the same story which shouldn't really give more information about these things, I don't expect him to have "hid" much information, he was the one thinking out loud all the time. The dessert sequence was almost identical and I expect the amusement park to be the same. We'll probably learn some stuff later on when he's seperated from 2B though, I'm looking forward to that part but it's a while. Then there are these small cutscenes about the machines and symbols occasionally to keep it fresh I suppose.

Anyway, I played more than that last night, I just didn't get around to write about it here. I just reached the amusement park. It's a little bit mixed so far because I bunch of it is the same and that's a big of a drag but there has also been a few scenes added, I'm expecting more of this as we go. I feel like not having been able to open the chests before means that you can't truly rush everything either, though at least it's most archive stuff which is cool.

I had to do the two first side quests again, but the rest stand as completed or are still gone in case I didn't complete them in time (the one with the scientist being an exception). Hopefully I can pick up the 2-3 I didn't complete because I didn't realize it would be too late.

It did allow me to skip the scene if I wanted to, but yeah. Then I got got to hear 9S yelling at me because I was slow which I likely wasn't paying attention to the first time.
