In modern age its illegal to pay under minimum. What this means is that at the end of a pay cycle if the minimum wage wasnt acchieved through tips and salary, your boss makes up the difference. Tipping is part of your salary of having a piss easy job that the owner shouldnt have to pay you as much, with the possibility of making above minimum wage simply because you smile at somebody while brining them their plate. People at baskin robbins do more work as they directly serve you AND take the order. I say no. the only tips I would be ok with are tips to the chef. Most waiters are good looking entitled people who are only smart at socializing which is why they can only get appearance jobs until they are lucky enough to graduate to higher appearance jobs or wear out their looks/age and try to marry themselves off or fall into self destructive patterns. Not all waiters mind you, just the attractive ones who work at sports bars and casual dining restaurants.
