Both are now in Prison for the charge of incest as Alyssa spoke to dailymail on the heartbreaking news when she found out how their warped affair tore them apart and described it as the "ultimate betrayal" because Alyssa was STILL married to Steven...and she was not only cheated on but by her own daughter no less!!

Alyssa has blamed it squarely on Steven insisting he brainwashed and seduced Katie after she moved into their home in Virginia before moving together to North Carolina.

Alyssa says "There are no words to describe the sense of betrayal and disgust i'm feeling. I waited 18 years to have a relationship with my daughter and now he's completely destroyed it"

After they divorced in March 2017 and impregnating Katie, Steven made little attempt to conceal the news as the brazen couple posted their pictures and baby together on social media as he embraced his then "pregnant bride"..and steven's 72 y/o GRANDMOTHER witnessed the wedding of her granddaughter and son!!

Alyssa who is a supervisor at T-mobile says their marriage was illegal and says their whole family are sick monsters who were all there at an incestuous wedding.

Alyssa says she gave up her daughter at 17 and her then 22 y/o boyfriend Steven agreed to give her up for a better life as they still stayed together and had 2 more kids but regretted giving Katie up...but Katie found them through email and after finding them, stayed with them to reunite as a whole family...

Your link doesn't seem to specifically cover cousin marriage and, more importantly, it claims that incest is legal in China which conflicts with other Wikipedia pages which note that even cousin marriage is illegal there.

More importantly, if you actually go to the cousin marriage page, it shows that cousin marriage is legal pretty much everywhere except the US and China.

Thats the metric we have decided is the determining factor in whether sexual relations between adults are allowed or accepted.

1. Are they both legally adults

2. Do they both consent, as in is the female in the situation not in any legal way able to claim after the fact her senses were compromised before or during sexual relations

3. Self harm is not allowed up to a point because in western society our bodies are owned by the economy and expected to output a certain amount of economic value before being allowed to die

Follow those 3 rules and you cnt get in trouble for doing ANYTHING (aside from incest, because thats how kingdoms form, not to imply I am for it, but thats the real reason the government is against it when that used to be what the government was)

It's nasty, and I'd harshly judge anyone who went down that path, but if there's no abuse it's just gross and stops there. Where it gets legally murky for me is when the subject of children is brought up. I've got pretty strict views regarding who I deem eligible to have kids.

I think that kinda reflects the nature of the social taboo rather than the actual genetic reasoning. Basically an extension of the Westermarck Effect, where a significant portion of the portion of the population experiences it and anything that deviates from it seems strange.
