When Biden is inevitably the nominee for president, would you want to see Bernie run third party if it's looking like Trump will beat Biden 1 on 1?

No.

Im convinced that at least 75% of the supposed Bernie bros that voted for trump in 2016 were just astroturf sock puppets

I can remember my rby team and that's about it. I thought I was so clever as a kid because I had nearly 100% type coverage.

Venusaur, blastoise, charizard, raichu, hypno, golem

It's weird that I can't remember my gsc team, because that was my favorite time with the series

I played sun/moon a year or so ago... maybe I can remember some of that

Incineroar, magnezone, sylveon, slowbro, mudsdale I think... not sure who filled the last spot

I will always advocate for returning games you don't like!

I will say that in this game, similar to dying light, your character starts off so inept and powerless that it feels unfair

Once you unlock a few critical upgrades, the game magically becomes fun

Everyone I know has complained about this. My friend who has actually finished the game complained about the final quarter as well, but I'm not there yet

Yeah, I just have no idea what's actually right here. I've been misled before.

I can leave something like this to the experts.

The subtext here is that it's just tough to trust the experts to be objective when you already consider them to be of low character (I have my own biases about kavanaugh at this point)

compare it to how trump supporters don't worry or look too hard at the specifics of what he's doing- they trust he's doing his best. Or how Obama supporters felt about Obama's decisions

So this article could simply be "kavanaugh has opinion about X issue" and I'd feel a little bit uneasy, because it's a reminder that he has that power and I don't particularly like him

scarletspeed has been inundated with messages- i've been barely able to keep up with voting, myself- so i imagine he missed the specific PM that had my updated pitch. i worked pretty hard to keep the word count down.

=========

Mutant Intent is ultimately a radical power trip about personal stakes and finding catharsis. This comic leans into both camp and edge whole-heartedly.

A "typical" episode starts with a strong hook, almost like a heist- get in, get revenge (sorry, 'find catharsis') for a member of the team, and get out. And over the remainder of the series, we might learn what we become after catching our white whale. Emma Frost brought this team together in Juggernaut's wake. Ironically, every member's values of independence and freedom has led them to work together again and again.

And sometimes, their shared success involves guaranteeing there is a better world to be free in.

=======

Now, given I don't have to stick to roughly two paragraphs, I can list some example major plot threads. Most can be left to the imagination. Frost gets revenge on the billionare clique that dictated her life. Sunfire and Sunpyre clash with the military/nuclear warfare industry that they blame for their mother's illness/death. Random butts heads with Dark Beast and any number of authoritarian anti-mutant organizations. Juggernaut sheds his need for his father's approval by besting Xavier in a meaningful way. You can imagine a rogue's gallery associated with each thread, as well as who might pursue them with the intent of bringing them to justice.

It's meant to be a little different and a little introspective, particularly with characters that have already resolved their initial arcs. Some may rotate in and out if they find their interests breaking away from the group, but many others enjoy the added strength and sense of cause from the team.

Hope this helps

...where the fuck did you get the laser cannon thing from, bananor?

Nightcrawler can teleport. Chamber is an extremely powerful energy blaster.

Jono's thoracic and abdominal cavities are a chamber for a furnace of psionic energy capable of nuclear fission whose output can be projected as wide blasts of concussive force or laser-like focused beams that disrupt atomic bonds.

By the time DLC becomes conveniently & cheaply purchasable Im not in the mood to play through the entire game again.

But I've heard so many good things about Artorias from those I know in real life and online that I know I'll get to it someday.

When I first went through the game, Yunalesca was the one I had the most trouble with. Second place was probably BFA.

Back then, I was morally opposed to grinding levels, and considered a game that required grinding to be bad. Additionally, I believe she was the first major boss after the armor crafting mechanic was introduced. I did not want to craft armor....

I think I eventually just looked up what to do here on gamefaqs, which was to grind materials and craft something or other.

I'd also like to add that the narrative leadup to the boss was powerful, but also frustrated me. Yunalesca is barely even a villain. (big spoiler beats ahead)

Okay. So there's a gigantic invincible monster. It will literally gobble up 10% of the population every year or something ridiculous like that. We've already seen it effortlessly demolish the most advanced army in the world.

However, there is one thing we can do. Ten percent of the population will be killed each year, unless one (1) volunteer every 10 years volunteers to sacrifice themselves. This will send it to sleep for a decade.

It's not evil to encourage this. The magnitude of suffering alleviated by one person is immense.

Attempting to kill the only person capable of facilitating the sacrifice is evil. People should be permitted to take on this sacrifice if they want- why take away that choice? The protagonists are just lucky they live in a video game and have enough DEF and HP and POW stats to actually defeat the invincible monster.

The only thing yunalesca did wrong was lie. She said that if we put the monster to sleep enough times it would eventually go away forever.

But is that worth getting all mad and killing her over? She didn't create the monster. the actual deal is still very strong.

anyway, the combination of difficulty, length, emotional stakes, and the odd disconnect i had with the party's reasoning all added up to a very memorable boss fight

Outside of GameFAQs, I feel like the five nominees are going to be:

RE2 Remake
Sekiro
The Outer Worlds
Death Stranding
Fire Emblem: Three Houses

and then RE2 remake wins.

This is a really sad list for some reason, not like these games are bad and you have solid, realistic picks, but for some reason this being the top 5 of the year casts a disappointing shadow on all of 2019

I don't think it's sad, especially when there have been so many great indie games in the past year.

Death Stranding and The Outer Worlds are wholly original, and the other 3 are great entries in their genres.

Sure, TLoU2 isn't coming out until 2020, but that's just another thing to look forward to

It's funny how important timing is for services like this.

You want to launch before your competitors do, but if you launch too early it will run like garbage and you'll lose a ton of money.

If the steam gaming market becomes big enough it could lead to some amazing, otherwise impossible games.

Think of the jump from local-only or peer-to-peer to server-client based games. MMOs like the ones we have today could not exist without the server-client model

With a streaming only model, I guarantee some crazy stuff could be done

But that's not how stadia is being used. It's a bad product.

Late response, but you're totally right. It just felt like it was printed regularly for a while, such that I assumed they printed the effect nearly all the time. I think it was ixalan + dominaria that convinced me

while ouat is obviously the most powerful (instant, generic & conditionally free), it's still a more powerful riff on an old tune

Adventurous impulse, commune with dinosaurs, oath of Nissa, grapple with the past, seek the wilds, traverse the ulvenwald are all slightly worse/ less pushed versions of ouat

I wouldn't be surprised if the game recieved very normal or slightly low scores

If you zoom out for a minute, pokemon games have had an identical formula for 20 years.

The game clearly delivers a basic pokemon experience as visible to the average non-fan, so how low of a score can a reviewer reasonably give it? If the missing pokemon were implemented tomorrow, how much higher should the score be?

I used to go nuts over every change in every wow expansion. One was the worst, one was the best, and that was certainly true, but those changes didn't matter to my friends who either never played or always played

They simply either were or were not interested in the core gameplay loop

This might be the shittiest pokemon game, but really all pokemon games are probably within 1 or 1.5 points of each other on the grand scale

Back in the day, they started nerfing color hosers because they were too binary/swingy.

For them to be playable, they either have to be crippling to their target or playable without a valid target. They moved towards the latter

Veil of summer was closer to the former, and some would say too much so. It's a 100% dead card against naya and a crippling blowout against dimir control

But to be honest, I have zero pity for control players crying that their counterspell was countered.

how much net worth do you need to never work again? counting property and stuff. i think it completely depends on your target lifestyle.
