Regardless, taking this kind of attitude is just going to fuck you over in the long run, make your work history look like complete shit and a lot of potential employers are going to throw away your application. I had my first shift yesterday, and at the end, my boss gave me a menu and told me to memorize a few key items on it. is it normal practice for bosses to expect their employees to do this when they only get ~12 hours a week at minimum wage?
