I think basically that point is: any time you are faced with the decision that you might have to compromise your own ethical standards to accommodate someone else's.

Well Sikhs largely because Americans don't realize they are not Muslims.

Sikhs are treated well in the UK because there intergrated very well, one of the best examples of a different culture actually joining another, true multicultrualism.

But in the US, Average Joe is just Sikh of turbans and beards.

Forensic anthropologists don't determine race. They determine ancestry. There are specific strictures in their discipline which forbid them from determining gender and race (social constructs), and stipulate that what they should report are sex and ancestry (physical traits).

Being "racist" against Islam is like being "racist" against bronies or gamers, but more justified because Islam is an objectively harmful ideology.

I'm more left-wing than anyone in my family would like, but this "religion of piece" shit is where I draw the fucking line. Like, sure, don't be a bitch to people just because they're Muslim if they haven't actually done anything wrong, just like Christians, but lying to yourself about the religion itself being compatible with planet Earth is unacceptable.

No matter how little of it most Muslims practice, the Koran is full of hateful, violent demands for those who follow it. That's a fact.

The only reason why the left even sympathizes with Islam is that its followers are technically a minority in America, despite the religion being as against progressive values as can possibly be.

According the pew research poll on this topic, support for sharia averages around 50% across about 40 countries (both western and eastern). That's around 800 million people going by the "1.6 billion muslims" rule. Exactly how many people supporting decidedly an anti-equality set of laws is "too many" for you? Because "not all" is a fine defense, but how many is acceptable?
