I absolutely love everytime she's in an episode. Probably more because I always liked Whoopi a lot as a kid.

There's too many good characters to put her in my top 5 favorites in all of ST, but for TNG, it's Picard, Data, La Forge, Q and her. Lwaxana is also another one I really like.

I saw that and Another Earth pretty much around the same time back when they were released. Both were pretty good movies and I think of both when either is mentioned. Despite being pretty different.

Melancholia is pretty damn depressing and dreadful. The ending is pretty much the same feeling of desperation and hopelessness you feel on the last day of Majora's Mask.

Yes, but every location in the universe is moving at a different rate.

The CMB is the true rate of the time of the universe, which is about 30,000 years ahead of us. Everything else is beholden to gravitational time dilation. For example, the Earth's core is 2-3 years younger than the rest of the planet.

I mean, I totally understand where you're coming from, but unless there's an identical Earth there that started off at the exact same point, it's unmeasurable in terms of time travel. Think of the ship in the Series 10 finale of Doctor Who if you've seen it. It would have to be something like that.

That wouldn't really be time travel. You would just be going to a point where time is moving slower due to the effects of gravity.

The battle takes place in lower Upstate New York. Not exactly a populated area like NYC. Likely SWORD went in and got the compound footage.

Shit was kind of cringy, that is till you realize the subtle stuff going on with Monica with respect to her mother and Carol. She's mad at Carol, hence why she looked visibly pissed when Woo brought up CM and changed the subject when Darcy asked if her powers were also from the Infinity Stones. Officially, Wanda is currently the most powerful character in the MCU.

My crazy out of nowhere theory for this episode is that this is where the plug was pulled. Wanda's shit started breaking down, and Pietro was needed since her grief is not only over Vision, but Pietro as well. Except he's dead and nowhere to be found. So whoever is doing this likely went into the X-Men universe to grab Peter and possibly fucked shit up.

i loved the comics-style multiverse tease when it happened. but once they decided to actually move on them for real, i think it was a bit of a mistake. Beck just so happens to hit on a cover story that becomes real at basically the same time? meh.

it's not a big deal either way, but, in hindsight, i think they could have done things a little better.

Yeah, it does seem too convenient. Just gonna chalk it up to it being Sony plus plans changing between then because of the pandemic. Pretty sure WandaVision was supposed to come out right before Doctor Strange 2 and the first show was gonna be Falcon and Bucky.

Wow, loved this episode. Shit is definitely starting to feel like the comics since they have so much to draw from now in the MCU.

The episode started similar to how Carol Danvers woke up from her crash in Captain Marvel. You hear Carol's voice talking to kid Monica and boom. You realize we're seconds after Banner did the second snap in Upstate New York in Endgame and everyone is returning.

Leaves you wondering if Carol was there for Maria before she passed and if we'll ever see that side of it.

Monica carried the first half pretty well and bringing back Darcy and Jimmy Woo was an amazing idea since they carried the second half. We haven't seen Darcy in a long ass time, and last time we saw Jimmy, he was being a huge PITA for Ant-Man.

And finally, that ending scene with zombie Vision was crazy and gave so much away. The look on Wanda's face of shame at what she's doing and at the same time, knowing the dark truth and sadness that he is really dead was so nicely done.

I'm guessing she's taken his corpse and reanimated it. She's gone full crazy and I'm guessing Strange will have to get involved eventually.

It's not much. Wanda and Pietro are twins that lost their parents when they were kids because of an attack. The attackers had used missles sold to them by Stark.

When Loki attacked NYC in Avengers, he left behind his scepter, that Hydra took. The scepter held the Mind Stone in it. Hydra harnessed that to give Wanda and Pietro power.

Since they hated Stark so much, they joined forces with Ultron when he was activated.

Jarvis, Tony's butler AI, tried to stop Ultron, but was "destroyed". Ultron wanted to create a new body for him infused with the Mind Stone, but the Avengers stopped all that, and Jarvis was downloaded into the new body instead. That is Vision.

Not much after that. Pietro died in Ultron and then Civil War happened and Wanda took Steve's side and then Vision and Wanda fell in love and left till they saw the Children of Thanos attack NYC in Infinity War.

Wanda and Vision are both "born" of the Mind Stone. Captain Marvel was "born" of the Space Stone. Monica Rambeau is the little kid from Captain Marvel.

Unless you were in deferment or forebearance, there will be no accruing interest to capitalize over the years.

Interest is based off your principal between payments. If you're paying on time, part of your monthly payment is to pay for that interest.

He's probably looking at $15-$20k in taxes depending on his state and job.
