She is puppeting Vision's corpse. She is also possibly puppeting Pietro, but since she had no corpse, she made a reasonable facsimile.

I dunno, I got the vibe that she was faking it. A "main character" goes off script so badly that she nearly ends up outside of the Hex? Conveniently just in time for Vision to come across her? And to tell him that he's dead?

Her being in the opening makes me even more suspicious of her.

I'd be very surprised if Wanda is responsible for Pietro. She seems utterly confused by him. And his timing was just right to distract Vision from his discussion.

Like, there's this idea that Wanda "prepares everyone" "for the episode". But Vision said he was supposed to be part of the neighborhood watch. But Herb was almost shocked by the info that Vision was supposed to join them. If Wanda had complete script control, Herb would've said smth like "Vision never showed up" or "Vision skipped the meeting". But he didn't do that.

And Herb's a bro, he would have covered for vision.

Kidding aside. If it wasn't Wanda setting all these people up, why would they be asking her if she wanted to do it over again . And if Agnes is behind it all, why would she out herself by acting like that, asking for a retake .

I think the fact that Agnes asked if she wanted a retake is evidence that she's not like the rest of them. Other people who go offscript in any way don't do that.

I'm actually drawing a blank on when he went off-script. I remember the conversation he had about Geraldine, but that involved Agnes.

I think this all might have something to do with the destruction of the Reality stone. In Endgame they mention that weird shit was happening in the absence of the infinity stones. Since Wanda's powers come from the Reality stone they might be spiraling out of control without it.

it definitely doesn't help that her magic is very much Reality-ish, and even color coded the same way. If there was any way to expose her to the Reality stone pre-Strucker, i'd take it. but it would be so forced that i just can't find a way to justify it.

i think the scene when herb cuts through the wall with the hedge trimmers? or maybe it was after when agnes and herb were outside. something was definitely going on with them

That's not him going off script though, that's him staying on script so hard that he doesn't notice he's cutting down a cement wall with hedge trimmers.

I feel like the commercial spilled the beans. I ate y o magic! Followed by a close up of the parent trap playing in the theatre.

Also in the commercial it gave the kid what he wanted and it kept him there till he died. So it definitely looks like someone or something has trapped Wanda in there to drain her magic.

The commercial also parallels the show perfectly.

Someine sad, and alone, crying out for help. A shark comes along and gives what they want, but it costs their life in exchange. It's Wanda that's alone, vision is the food, and Agnes or whoever is the shark.

They'll exist in some fashion as they've already all but confirmed a Young Avengers series. They just might not be Maximoffs anymore.

It's actually a pretty good way to bypass the whole "reincarnation" thing, by just having Wanda "accidentally" giving them their powers or whatever is going on.

The one thing I didn't get about this episode was why did Tommy get a Quicksilver costume instead of his Speed costume? He's literally the only one that didn't get a costume based on his comics look. Even Billy got a cheap Wiccan costume.
