A band and an artist that many here have probably never heard of, that had most of his fame in the 70's recently passed away. Dwight Twilley RIP (June 6 1951-October 18 2023) had albums that once you put the needle on the record there was no need to skip to the next song. Not many "big hits". but if you liked his music, you liked all that he wrote.

You are correct, but once the "don't say gay" bill was passed it was the CEO of the company Bob Igor who said that the bill was unacceptable. Disney also paused their donations when it was passed. The fact that they did stand up to Desantis for human rights does mean a lot to me. Yes they are a major corporation, but they are not among the worst in the world.

Over the years Disney has had many misses, but the hits more than make up for them.
Fantasia flopped but made up for it many years later. I personally loved John Carter and wished that it had been more successful, same with Treasure Planet (not a bad video game either).

Disney afternoon in the 80's was fantastic, but sadly being number 1 also means that others will always take pot shots at you. I will always respect them for standing up for the rights of ALL people.

Oh, I know. But something has been off with Lucasfilm since she took over. I don't think all the blame is on her, but at the very least, she should have made sure the trilogy had a proper plan before commencing.

Something has been off with Lucasfilm since Disney bought the rights, fired everybody and didn't know how to continue the Saga. She is a great producer but getting rid of all of the creative minds behind the scenes was not the way to go, blame Disney, not her.

Hehe, the lung transplant team doesn't tell you that they turn you into a diabetic by loading you with 85mg of Prednisone daily. After 6 months they wean you down to 10mg and your blood sugar goes back to normal. No more insulin just Metformin, and just test 2-3 times a week.

NHL is a crooked League- which I can prove, and for at least one year the WHA was the better League.

CFL Football is a better game than the NFL-if you watch both you may agree, or not.

For your health please have the surgery done asap, many other folks have had it done before you, so it has now become a routine surgery where you are back to normal in very little time. Here is some info to help relieve your stress,

I was quite scared of my surgery (double lung transplant) done on Dec.4, now 6 months later I am almost back to where I was before the surgery and in another 6 months I should be back to normal.
