I also agree, just having women sing in a band, does not mean they lead the band. I enjoyed Fleetwood Mac when Peter Green and later Bob Welch were in the band. The albums "Bare Trees" and "Mystery To Me" their eighth studio album, were great, of course Nicks and Buckingham joining for their self titled tenth album, set the stage for their mainstream success with Rumours.

I enjoyed Suzie Quatro





Lene Lovich had a great album called Stateless,



It is really hard to choose, so many fine female bands over the years.
