I think we'll be able to forgive voting for Trump.

Most of my family is conservative/trump supporters. I don't hold it against them and we generally don't talk politics in the first place. They have their reasons and I have mine. It really doesn't affect anyone at the family level and I love them all.

However, even if I can agree to disagree on their views, I definitely wont let them forget this disaster of a presidency. When Trump's behind bars I'll be sure to remind them about it whenever the conversation floats in that direction.

Well yes, in the War Arc there was a foe who used a powerful Fire Technique that overpowered the ally's water technique, creating a thick fog and subsequently using the cover of the fog to deal more damage.

It's not a catch-all counter system, it's dependant on the skills of the ninja and the environment. But the cycle is a general guideline.

This always seemed wrong to me. Why is lightning strong against earth? the ground absorbs and disperses lightning.

and earth being strong against water doesn't make sense either since water can dissolve earth.

IMO it shoulda been Fire > Wind > Earth (Wind Erosion) > Lightning (Grounding) > Water (Conductivity) > Fire

You don't really lose anything in the continuity by switching these around.

The Water > Fire > Wind cycle makes sense tho. Fire > Wind in particular makes sense since adding oxygen to a fire makes it burn hotter.
