Yeah, not having watched Civil War yet was one of the reasons I didn't get around to seeing it in theatres. I think I'm reasonably caught up on everything I'd need, so I'm not too worried about that.

That's not how it works. Gaming computers can last for years and really the only thing that would even need to be replaced if you want to stay active in PC gaming is the graphics card.

To add to this:
1. New consoles are released every 5-7 years usually, so about the time you might have to upgrade your PC. (This isn't including mid-gen upgrades such as PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, New 3DS, etc.)
2. PC usually has better digital sales than console counterparts.
3. You don't pay for online on top of your internet connection on PC.
4. Due to steps 2 and 3, you will most likely save more money in the long run compared to consoles.

The only huge cost is the initial cost of building a PC. But even them that's not much more than consoles when there have been consoles that have launched at $500-600... <_<

I agree, I liked the older ones. It's kinda like Always Sunny the early ones are okay, the middle ones are great, the latest ones are weird/ridiculous.

At least Always Sunny still has the original cast iirc.

I wasn't a huge fan of living alone but at least it's something where you know what you're getting. I've only lived with people I know at least somewhat, but that has turned out both good and bad. Even real good friends can be awful roommates sometimes.

Sadly I have had horrible luck with roommates, but at least I won't have to worry about that in a few months. I can't wait to live alone, even if it is more expensive in the long run.

You have been warned.

I liked it, but it's extremely overrated.

The open world is boring and repetitive. You face the same reskinned enemies over and over again. The only things to really discover are korok seeds and shrines, and too many shrines feel the same. (Some are just straight up copies lol.)
The trials were way too easy and short to be considered dungeons, and I hope you enjoy fighting the same kind of boss four times with slightly different moves...

Ugh. The physics are still great, but the game could have been so much more.

I don't know know what you mean about it being stretched? It looks to be the formula that Nintendo has put into place as part of its decision making process. How have they stretch their own set guidelines?

Is the second one an official Nintendo requirement or one of the (dozens of) rules fans have made up about who Nintendo allows in Smash? As far as I recall the only rule that's ever been stated by Sakurai is "from a video game", but I could be mistaken.

On the subject of it being stretched I'm referring to Cloud (and the breaking of many fan rules but that's less relevant). The popular line used in fan conversations used to be that the character had to be on a Nintendo console, which Cloud was considered to be a breach of.

Regardless I think we'll be seeing a Lego minifigure sooner rather than later. Shock value has become a key part of SSB advertising.

Speaking of which, Reggie said that video game characters don't need to have close ties to Nintendo to appear in Smash. (He said this after the Joker announcement.)
He also said that the characters would be ones who aren't anticipated/expected. This rules out most 1st party Nintendo characters imo.

If Capcom had their way they would probably add Chris, but what is a notable resident evil song. I can see fans pushing Phoenix Wright, but what would a Phoenix Wright stage even look like. I guess they can fight in a court room. or go even meta and dodge yhe text on the bottom and the touch capabilities in a new game.

There have been multiple SMT games on Nintendo consoles. It's not that weird.

Smash also has Cloud, Ryu, Snake, etc.

I love the 3D Mario games and Mario Kart, but the 2D games rank just slightly above them.

Super Mario Bros 1, 3, World, and World 2 are all phenomenal games.

In no particular order:

Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead Redemption 2
Midnight Club: Los Angeles

But then again, I haven't played many of their games. I do want to play Bully, Manhunt, and the Max Payne games someday though.

The Kingdom Hearts and Metal Gear Solid series have decent stories, even if they are extremely convoluted and downright dumb sometimes.

As some of you may know I have zero friends and I'm introverted however this doesn't stop me wanting to do more social things at times. I've never actually gone to the pub/bar alone as I only over bother going out for drinks if my bro is available. I've however been contemplating doing it regardless of if he''s available or not. I'm extremely introverted too, but I do have a few friends. Putting yourself in uncomfortable social situations can be good for you.
Going to bars is fun with friends, but when you go to those kinds of places with friends you don't mingle with many people besides them. Going by yourself will allow you to meet new people and give you new experiences.

Destiny Islands was maybe 30 minutes top. Roxas's thing was like around 2 hours when I went through it, maybe even more.

But no, I haven't played II since posted all that yesterday. Going through Persona 3 since I'm nearly finished with it, then I'll beat KHII.

Also, it Atlantica a required world in this game?

Destiny Islanda could still be a little bad lol. Not as bad as KH2, but still bad imo.

I think you can skip Atlantica in KH2? But KH2 Atlantica is completely different from KH1. It's a rhythm mini game in KH2.

So did you finally get through it? KH1 had a similar issue with Desitny Islands iirc.

As for KH3? From what I hear they finally learned from KH1/KH2 so the intro should be really short.

There are just so many great collections, so this is a tough one for me.

The KH complete collection might be my favorite so far.
The Zelda Collector's Edition is a good honorable mention though.

Besides the graphics and camera controls, most games from that generation hold up relatively well imo.

Overall? It's a tie imo.

The 360 was better in the first half of that gen, but the PS3 had the better library by the end of the gen.
With that said, both have an amazing library of games.
