Just watched The Ambition of Oda Nobuna. I'm not sure if Koei had any involvement with it, but they sure seem to throw several references to the actual Nobunaga's Ambition series....not that I've actually played any of them.

The show itself wasn't so bad, despite being full of girls it sure seemed like a more "serious" take on all the Sengoku-themed anime lately.

Though it sort of makes want a Pokemon Conquest anime...

You don't need to beat Lambda again to start a New Game+, you just pick it right in Title Screen and it doesn't matter where you are in the cleared file.

That said there's a good deal of post-game content back in the main game after beating Future Arc. So I don't recommend starting a NG+ until you're ready for a 60-sec trophy run unless you'd much rather do all the extra stuff (i.e. hidden bosses, Zhonecage) with all the enhancements from the Grade Shop.

If you're confused by all of this, just save on a separate file after beating Lambda for the first time and load it, you'll see what happens.

(BTW SHINE, this is the same in Vesperia, saving after beating the final boss and then loading it won't put you in a New Game+, you start that in the Title Screen as well)

Ok this is how it works, after you beat the final boss, you'll unlock some new stuff that will appear on the title screen such as New Game+ and Lineage and Legacies (which is the Future arc).

When you go to Lineage and Legacies, simply pick a cleared file and you'll start the Future arc right away.
Once you beat Future Arc, you'll be able to save your game which will put you right back in the main game, at the save point right before Lambda, but now you'll retain all the stuff you got in Future arc.

Richard is playable throughout the entire Future arc, but he's gone once you're back in the main game. Though there's still a way to play as him in the main game from getting something in Future arc.

I should note that loading a cleared file doesn't automatically put you in a New Game+ like it did in Symphonia and Abyss. There's now a separate option to start one from the title screen.

In fact if you were to load a cleared file, it would unlock Zhonecage which is the EX Dungeon, but it's highly recommended that you don't go through it until after going through Future arc.

At that point you have an airship making side-quests at more easier to do since it helps that you can see the requests for every town on the world map.

Though it may not be a bad idea to at least reach the lowest level in the final dungeon, which is right before the final boss, before doing some side-quests since it'll unlocks skits all over the world including in dungeons that you may need to revisit.

Of course you can always see them after beating the game.

That said, do you know anything about the post-game stuff? I'm not quite sure if you've been going through this whole game blind.

Speaking of Smash, I tried out the demo build of Project M, some changes I don't really like, but overall it seemed pretty good.
The most impressive part of it would be them actually changing some of the animations, like Snake now uses a knife for his forward smash, but I wish they got rid of his Claymore down smash.

And some of the changes seemed really arbitrary, like did they really had to change Falco's forward smash back to his kick from Melee? It's not like they can't make it work the same, it's like they couldn't get over how he is in Melee.

I also like how they threw in a Skyloft stage with Ballad of the Goddess playing in the background, and what goes on in the background is great, but the stage itself is really small, like it's literally just the top-left corner of Hyrule Temple.

Now if only they could add Kirby...

Man, at least try to beat the game before returning it. That would definitely seem doable in 2 days, since you're pretty close to the end.

And Menji as a heads up, if you haven't done it already, be sure to do Fredric's Handkerchief request before beating the game, that's the only missable request in the entire game. Missing that request means no hidden boss fight, which means no trophy for you.

Speaking of that, the K-ON! manga recently just ended again.
It was pretty underwhelming overall, even the endings for both the high school side and college side felt flat.

As someone who legitimately looked forward to a new chapter every month pre-graduation, I gradually stopped caring for it. It literally just felt like an extension.

Well for what its worth, the 3D consoles ones (Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia, Graces f) are the only ones really worth playing as far as US releases goes.

The side-quests in Graces are actually pretty well done in terms of timing.

Outside of the ones that are only in childhood arc, there's only one missable side-quest and you have until the end of beating the main game to do it.

While I didn't get a real good look at her face, the Pascal cosplay itself was really well done, and there was Leia cosplayer right before her that got a t-shirt as well, and the costume for her didn't look too bad.

I'd say that you're about 2/3's through the game, once you actually reach Fodra then you'll be about 3/4's in.

Well.... I'll just say that you will eventually.

As for Grade, you no longer get it through battles like in the previous games. You're get Grade by doing various stuff throughout the game, such as going through the EX Dungeon (Zhonecage), clearing the game, and doing side-quests.

And no, it doesn't stack this time sadly, and since Artes come from skills and inheriting skills is very expensive, it's highly doubtful that you'll have enough after 1 playthough or even after several of them..... though inheriting Titles doesn't cost much and you can also get double or triple SP.

If anyone's still interested in getting Samurai Warriors Chronicles, it's currently $14.50 at Best Buy.

It's not listed anywhere on their site, but it didn't seem like an individual store clearance, like there was no indicator that it was a manager discount, so it should be nation-wide.

But it's all moot if you plan on watching both seasons together in chronological order.
