It's kinda mystifying how Assassin's Creed games need 700 people working on them to put one out in three years and still feel so empty.

Is it really? When your company pushes out games that force "diversity" and other political trash on people, it's pretty obvious that:
1. A large part of the funding is already covered by those who "ordered" this kind of game, so not much risk for you.
2. You'll burn a bunch of that risk-free money on "diversity" hires (and the like) who are there to fill a quota, and bring little of actual value.
3. Being effective will be your last concern.
4. The game will be trash.

Of course, that business model will only work as long as you have "benefactors."

Whereas the Japanese work with their own money, so they hire the best people to do the most effective work.

There's not a single exclusive that makes a PS4/Xbox One worth buying. Even FFXV is coming to PC next month. Kojima's game, whenever it comes out, might be the first one.

While Switch offers a lot for Nintendo fans, and things like Xenoblade 2 and especially the TV/portable gaming possibility in itself appeal to non-Nintendo fans, too. It still lacks the numbers in terms of hard-hitting titles, but it's also early in its life, unlike the other two. Knowing Nintendo and their tradition of lacking third-party support, that probably won't change that much, but if there's a console I'll buy, it'll be Switch (but realistically, I doubt I will because I have so little time for gaming anymore).

In short, it confirms all the things from the Congress memo, but tries to excuse the FBI as simply relying too much on Steele because he'd been a reliable source for them in the past. It tries to shift the blame mostly on Steele - although it affirms that FBI DID NOT disclose the fact that the dossier was funded by DNC/Clinton campaign to FISC.

Importantly, this memo also underlines that some information coming from the US State Department, before the elections (October 19th, 2016) was included in later versions of the dossier. Showing clearly that the Obama administration tried to affect the elections and prepare "insurance" (a term the Strzok messages revealed) in case Trump won. See bottom of page 6.

Back on topic. Apparently, Carter Page worked for FBI as late as March 2016. He'd been undercover baiting some Russians into revealing they were unregistered agents.

Because FISA Title I surveillance authority against a U.S. citizen is so serious (the U.S. government is essentially calling the target a spy), only a few people are authorized to even apply for such surveillance warrants. One of the four people authorized to make such a filing is the Asst. Attorney General who is head of the National Security Division of the DOJ. That person is John P Carlin.

The same John P Carlin who, together with the FBI counterintelligence unit, conscripted Carter Page as an FBI Under-Cover Employee, gains a guilty plea, then turns around and six months later accuses Page of being a Russian Spy.

Why? Likely because the DOJ-NSD and FBI CoIntel needed to find a legal way to spy on the Trump campaign. The 2016 FISA Title 1 surveillance of former FBI employee Carter Page became that legal way. [The Insurance Policy]
