People want to look their best because

1. They like how they look.
2. It's professional.

By the same token of logic men being clean and combing their hair has no place in the workplace.

His point is that it's hypocritcal to put on make up (specifically red lip stick and blush for increased arousal) or wear high heels (that accentuate the booty) and then complain about sexual harassment because the point of those actions are to increase a girl's sexual attractiveness.

And that's a dumb point.

For starters the premise isn't even true. Looking good and wearing make up does not come from a goal to attract mates anymore.

And for two, even if we pretend the premise is true, that's still an awful point to use as an example for men and women not working together. It's the same logic as the Islamic "Women need to cover themselves or else men will rape them!" stupidity.

If you can't look at or work with a girl without harrasing her, then you suck. It's not because you are male it's because you suck. You need to change and keep up with the basic low standards that everyone else manages.

Politics is a male dominated field were approximately 94% of all politicians globally are male and only 6% are female. Although that can be misleading as progressive countries like the US or Western Europe are a lot closer to approx 80% - 20%

And this is not a new trend, quite the opposite. Of course there are a few exceptions and some huge female political figures/leaders, but generally for the past 20,000 years of civilization the world has been governed and run by men, with only recently women being allowed and accepted getting their feet in the door.



So what do you think? If instead of being male dominated politicians were roughly 50-50 male/female with the best female and male minds combined governing the world, do you think that would show a net improvement to the planet as a whole or do you think that would have no effect? OR even a worse effect?

Do you think female leaders/voices would have had an impact on WW2? Religion? The Cold War? Or was this all inevitable regardless of who sat in the big chairs?

With all the issues today plaguing every nation and the threats of the future, terrorists with WMDs, hacking, viruses, lack of resources, automation, corruption etc do you think we would have better stratergies and results with more female voices going forward?

No arguing please, I just want CE's opinion as it's an interesting subject.

I have never seen the Pursuit of Happiness but I have seen Seven Pounds and the highly underrated Six Degrees of Seperation and they are great.

I also never played Doki Doki because it looked like it was trying too hard and is not my thing.

However people who have played it absolutely rage out when I say that and one of them astutely pointed out that it's free and kinda hypocritical of me considering I questioned why so many won't give Life Is Strange a chance despite the fact it is free and beloved.

So I have them right here. Doki Doki just downloaded or I got a DVD to watch.
