Why would they blow their load with Doom right away? He'll be in, just not the main baddie. You build him to be a Loki, a recurring antagonist that sometimes also helps the heroes.

Whoever is in charge of embracing and promoting these memes is fucking on it. It's like the first actually engaging Presidential ads I've seen and shows an embracement of the younger generation and modernity.

Besides the point. Non zero is 99%. We are talking about 100%.
The logic that "anything can always go wrong" is faulty if restricted to cases where we are 100% certain that the killer is guilty, not 99.999999 certain, then it is a ZERO chance of it being wrong.

And even if it WAS a non zero 99.999999 chance of being faulty. That is virtually 0% practically because it would not be used in cases of 'simple' murder.

Not to mention our society tolerates non zero chance of wrongful death in many ways. You've got basically a 0 chance of a plane crashing. We decide as a democratic society to tolerate that non zero chance that works out to mean 0 on a day to day basis, and execution cases should be even more impossible to get 'wrong'. Like finding two snowflakes the same. That level of non zero is practically zero, and if tolerated by a democratic society, will be one that I agree with.

1. Police have gotten people executed on their lies.
2. There are literally provably innocent people on Death row who cannot get their sentences expunged.
3. The death penalty is also super fucking racist. Black people are way more likely to get it than white people.

I realized in perspective now a long time ago, but in the moment. I never realized how different the NES version of Double Dragon II was to the arcade. Double Dragon I was generally the same just lacking a two player mode other ports were similar.
