I don't see how that era could possibly be worse than this current one where everybody is rolling with decks that win on turn one or two and you're not even really interacting with your opponent outside of trying to interrupt their combo, which if you do means you're probably going to win instead. It's brain dead flow chart nonsense that you could probably teach a crow to play optimally.

And then the crow gets fucked when they get hand trapped and doesn't know how to play turn 2+.

Yes there is flowchart nonsense but there's a reason why the top players enjoyed the latest tear zero format because it actually showed off skill in the mirror matches.

Id is fun with his Dragon Boi antics but Yoda is still my main. Might not have the fast burst DPS but I love his ramping damage, I frames and giving the party invincibility for a number of hits. Plus I love that he's quite literally a fantasy Yoda lol

Finally got going, currently on chapter 2 so too early for any real judgements just yet. It feels good, though. Zeta and Ferry will probably be my first recruits.

After playing Ferry, she felt alright. Not as damaging as Percival but a cool switch of gameplay. Not the traditional pet class I expected, as to play her in an optimal DPS role she summons pets just to buff her hold triangle/Y but it "consumes" then after it's done. But keeping her in that stationary mode was a pain with this annoying boss in chapter 6 that moved a lot and spammed a lotta ranged stuff

Third crewmate: Ferry. Pet class + Whip = Me intrigued. Not to mention I really like her hair <__<
