I'm still really confused how they can operate a park safely. There are so many points of contact everywhere, I feel like it would be impossible to keep everything clean, unless they're doing a full wipedown of each ride vehicle afterwards. Even then I feel like someone could sneeze or something in a spot that doesn't get wiped down.

The only reason I feel any sort of excitement about it is that the lines are probably the shortest they'll ever be in history. But that's not worth the risk of getting sick.

I'd suggest you go and watch some YouTube videos. There are tons of videos of people while they're at the parks and showing what it is like.

Basically there's a ton of hand sanitizer and hand washing stations everywhere and no shortage of social distancing markers. They have employees everywhere wiping down high touch surfaces. Some rides are wiped down each time while others are more periodic.

At the Universal Theme Parks they require that each person wipe their hands down with hand sanitizer immediately before and immediately after riding any ride. They also do periodically wipe down the rides too.

The parks are actually doing a fairly good job operating within the guidelines. They've made TONS of changes. It's just that going to a theme park is one of the least necessary things you could do. I'd avoid it mostly on those grounds alone.

I told the owner I needed more time off from training and he sent me a bunch of extremely hostile messages about how I'm "part of the problem" and "go ahead and train at one of those other *****" schools if I want.

He is a good fighter, but has a lot of toxic traits I am done turning a blind eye to.

He has also been encouraging people to come in and train during all this, saying that it's all bull ****.

As someone who has watched many vlogs of people who've gone to Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld post covid it looks fairly safe in the parks.

Like their crowd levels are very low and thus very manageable. Disney and Universal (not as much for Seaworld) have done a good job enforcing mask wearing and social distancing.

I've been playing disc golf for over ten years now. I've played in a bunch of tournaments and leagues. I own a couple hundred discs and like 6 or maybe 7 disc golf bags.

I used to watch this show a ton growing up.

Anyone remember the episodes they would do where a ton of stuff was wrong and you could take note of them and mail them in for a shot at winning a prize. Reruns of that episode would have little popups explaining each mistake as it came along.

The amount of cops caught on video in recent months committing crimes against citizens is pretty sickening.

Like I've always thought we need to dramatically rethink what role police play in society, but this is some next level stuff.

They look like absolute thugs out there terrorizing the public. Police departments absolutely need to be torn down and rebuilt if you have any hope of combatting corruption.

Honestly I ain't upset. But it is upsetting just how easy it is for them to manage a 30-40+ an hour job while I'm doing a 9-5. And it's not just streaming, it's the amateur porn that women are doing too. Not saying it's wrong, her body her choice and all that.

But I've always been a bit bitter it wasn't an option for me because I'm not a girl. These women got 6 figure incomes by 21 if they play their cards right and frankly, I'm hella jealous.

Millennials only criticize Christianity, because it is seen as mostly white and has some influence over our politics. Criticizing any majority non white religion can easily be seen as racist.

The "cancel culture" or "public shaming" seems to only affect a certain demographic, and not all bad behavior from all demographics.

Stories or videos go viral by support of the media and by people who have a large number of Twitter followers, etc.

We've been inundated with "Karens" and "racist white people" the past few months. I highly doubt that's because only white people have done racist things and there's just simply no instances of white people being the victim in any given scenario.

What is happening now in the current climate only "cancels", "shames", or "exposes" a specific demographic. And I don't think that reflects actual reality. It's selective shaming and selective exposure.

The counter argument is white privilege or something to that effect. It is why we hold white people accountable for racists thoughts, words, and actions. A bit of a societal trade off.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree with it, but just stating it as a reality.

White people are currently being held to a higher standard with their speech. Just a tactic current society has kind of agreed upon as a way to correct the racist sins of societies past.

There is a weird paradox where the eagerness to label someone as racist without sufficient evidence is a racist tendency.

Think of like assuming the South is nothing, but a bunch of Hicks who hate non white people. You're judging people to be a stereotype by assuming they're all racist idiots.

Not to undercut actual examples of racism though. There certainly are more than a few examples of people with the word Karen often ascribed to them who express racism.

It just seems like the same people who love to throw the word Karen around. Like ridiculing someones name as an extension of their race has been a thing for a long time. This just seems like such a blatant way to be publicly racist against white people or I should say white women in particular.

Like I get that these videos of so called "Karen's" are quite unpleasant people, but ascribing a term like Karen to it seems off putting to me.

I do see Karen being used as a slur more often these days. Like it is usually the fringe type people resorting to this stuff.

I'm not sure how people defend the usage of this term in any other way than "I'm ok with expressing racism in this way towards white people."

Like I'm not saying the level of severity between the Karen term is anywhere close to slurs used towards minorities, but I don't see how that makes the Karen term usage acceptable.
