There is nothing keeping the restaurants from paying them normal wages right now while they're not serving customers in restaurant. It's nobody's responsibility but the people who hired them to make sure they get paid.

That's ridiculous. Here's a reason that isn't what you say - I think that a business that hires somebody should pay their wages.

Requiring initial paperwork to be filled out matching that of the place you're immigrating from is fine, but it shouldn't be any kind of arduous process to then update things after that initial stuff.

Oh yeah if it wasn't actually a puncture bite then I wouldn't even be worried. It's only when they bite straight down and their teeth embed bacteria under the surface that then gets closed over quickly that it's really an issue.

Definitely watch it closely for a few days, cat teeth are long and thin which is why they're bad about causing bacteria to get sealed beneath the skin. But I wouldn't go to the doctor unless it started showing signs of infection.
