enemy skill is the most broken materia in the game and you should always have it equipped from the first time you find one

tifa is the best additional party member for most of the game - as characters are pretty close to similar besides limit breaks, the fact her limit can hit multiple times at all levels is great. she will deal more damage than cloud at limit breaks if you are good at the slots most of the game.

aeris is great while alive and if you want that trophy well worth using. her limit breaks are powerful as fuck and her magic is a step above everyone else enough to secure a lot of kills with magic->all that the others can't

from disc 2 on cid and barret are probably the best other party members

daily mixes are the best thing spotify has done and really accurately nail different moods i can be in except the amount i listened to hamilton makes it think i'm generally into musicals



mix 1 is proggy metal and is what i listen to the most especially when at home playing games
mix 2 is like... mainstream modern metal. i listen to this a lot on the commute to work as most of the songs i am singing along to in my head and it kind of wakes me up
mix 3 is classic/traditional metal with various power metal sort of stuff in there. i like this sometimes when playing games also to sing along to and be energized
mix 4 is musicals because i listen to hamilton a lot. i never listen to this mix.
mix 5 is like indie rock and mostly stuff my ex listened to oops
mix 6 is more mainstream rock and punk and i usually have this playing at my desk in work as it's usually inoffensive enough that i don't get remarks about it and occasionally someone in earshot will even know a song i can turn up a little

and it's cool because like... obviously my tastes kind of aren't that diverse i listen to mostly metal and other hard rock but spotify actually does note the diversity in different styles i listen to which is something music discovery services have been much worse at than they should have been untlil recently
