it never really occurred to me, but Reno is made to be a sympathetic anti hero in the FFVII verse but HES the one that fucking killed everyone in Section 7. Everybody likes to forget he did that, huh?

Everybody was told to evacuate and they still didn't. Even when they SAW what was happening

I never realized how much of a crapsack world midgar is'

hundreds of people died and barely anybody cares in the neighboring sections

One unintentionally funny part I found was when Elmyra, Aeris' stepmom, was having a flashback

There was this dialog option when you were captured
When Tifa asks if you can break out:
"(Leave it to me)" (+1 Tifa) (as many times as you like)
"(Kinda hard)" (-1 Tifa) (as many times as you like)

so I think I knocked Tifa out of the running with this. I just need to insult the pink lady now

I seriously completely forgot Hojo wanted to knock out 2 birds with 1 stone and breed Red XIII and Aeris to make more of them.

Also that "researching" Aeris will take longer than any of their lifetimes and SHINRA OKAYED the breeding thing

everybody is fucking nuts


and the slight foreshadowing that Jenova is sephiroth running around. It went out of it's way to free you during its rampage.


Also I did not remember Palmer being so active this early in the game.

also, alot of characters act wacky and have super exaggerated movements. I'm wondering how, or even if, this will transition to the remake.

next things: on the brown ground outside midgar there is one enemy you can steal atomic scissors from for barret and even better there's a monster who uses matra magic enemy skill which for the next good portion of the game should OHKO a lot of random battles

She had like powers to make herself look human and shit and her dna affects people, but that's all I think.

IIRC, the "first" limit break has to be learned by killing a bunch of enemies

the "Second" tier is learned when you use the first tier one so many times

I am pretty sure when I first played this I used the same party as you did (Tifa, Cid).

Reading through this topic is making me remember so much.

I think it has been about 13 years since I played this. Crazy, doesn't feel that long ago at all.

Is this the version that also censors "shit"? It may be the same as the original Windows release, because it also made the Honeybee dialogue into something that made sense and corrected a bunch of typos.

I also know in one version they say "it" instead of "them" when threatening Don Corneo.

The Battle Square dialogue will sadly be correct as well.

an electric company is the iron fist ruler of the world with a military AND assassin group under their wing, the local Disney land has a horrible underground prison, and Nasa is a run down town, and Asia is localized entirely into one village
