I admit I'm biased. I fucking love Green Day and Smashing Pumpkins, so that, alone, sells me, before you even get to the others.

I'll never forget going to a Green Day concert like, 15 years ago, when I was in college, and I ran into The Miz (from WWE) there, and he was literally the most chill dude, he didn't care that people recognized him and wanted pictures and autographs, he was mainly just "Understand that I'm trying to enjoy the concert, so if I seem like I'm ignoring you, it's not intentional."

This is the key. That's why it's so believable how 17 got so strong, since... He doesn't have to train as hard as Goku does, since he could train for longer, since he never gets tired. And since he didn't take part in some of the bigger stuff in between, like Buu saga and so on, it's believable... He was training, even if at a lesser pace, literally the entire time.

I honestly feel like the Tournament of Power was done so well on many regards, since it shows stuff like Goku/Vegeta/Frieza's raw power, while showing that 17, who may not match them on raw power, had the intelligence to make his own power work, since he clearly trained, himself. And even Jiren recognized it. Jiren's issue wasn't that he underestimated how strong they were, his issue was that he underestimated how well they would work together, since he, himself, pushed people away in order to focus on becoming stronger.

17 is the MVP, and that is clearly all that matters.

EDIT: I'm obviously joking, but... Fuck it. I love ToP's 17 characterization. Yes, I get it feels like a power reach, but most things he does are less... Power related, and more... He's just straight up more intelligent than Goku/Vegeta/Frieza/etc., so he knows exactly how and when to play his cards.

EDIT EDIT: And, to be fair, I love the moment when... Jiren figures it out, since... During the assault from the final 3, he tries to ignore Goku/Frieza and take out 17, since he clearly figured out 17's plan. He just fails since he underestimated how willingly Goku/Frieza would work together.

Ok now $35 for those four bands (don't know the Linda Lindas well but they seem to be well reputed) seems like a damn good deal.

Also, yeah, the "cheap seats" tickets were obviously much lower, as TC explained. They clearly went for some better seats, so the price, for those bands, isn't bad at all.

With all due respect, that sounds like an awesome set, so I wouldn't at all mind buying tickets a year in advance.

Given the way a college football program is run, it seems there's almost no way he didn't know - whatever was going on, IMO.

Plus, simple logic says that if signs were being stolen by his staff (or whoever), that information is going to have to go somewhere and it's most likely going to be to the football coach. Can't see that information going to the softball team or the Economics Department, obviously.

Sounds no bueno.

For as much as I have watched that show I don't really recall those details with the D'Arcys but makes sense. To be fair in rerruns I have never even seen the episodes where Seven was involved in. It's like even in syndication they just want to forget that part haha.

Yeah, at one point, I believe Marcy says Seven showed up at their doorstep and refuses to leave, which basically implies they just... Started taking care of him. And then later, him appearing on the milk cartons implies he ran away from the D'Arcys.

Yeah, they did exactly that and they knew it, and basically owned up to it in what I thought was a pretty funny thing. I mean I don't know why they couldn't have just written his parents came back but whatever, it ended up being a good bit.

Like I said in my edit, which likely came after you began to type this, they do... Kinda give the character closure. They imply the D'Arcys started to take care of him, and then they imply he just... Ran away from the D'Arcys. And the reason this works so well is that you pretty much never see what the D'Arcys are up to outside of when they interact with Al. Honestly, MWC just did it... So well.

Married with Children also had a kid named Seven (kid of Peggy's cousin) for a bit that just went upstairs one day and was never mentioned again lol.

He ends up briefly getting adopted by the Bundy's when his parents go out to buy cigarettes and never come back. He later appeared on a milk carton on the Bundy kitchen table which was hilarious.

Oh god, I loved that, because it was them poking fun at the whole concept, including admitting that... They literally did the same thing.

I believe prior to that, they have the D'Arcys say he showed up at their door and won't leave, implying they adopted him, which was a clever way of dealing with the character, since you rarely actually see the inside of the D'Arcys' house.

That's also one thing I respect Home Improvement for. Say what you want about Tim Allen, he's sure... Something, but any time a character was going to be written out, they made sure to write a reason for WHY the character was being written out, such as when Randy leaves to do some overseas humanitarian thing or whatever, instead of having the character just... Vanish, like 90s sitcoms tended to do.

Debra's sister only appearing in one episode makes sense, atleast, since she's clearly somebody who lives off on their own and has no day to day influence or presence.

I didn't watch it when it aired, but I've caught reruns of it and I honestly kinda enjoy it. It and King of Queens are this back to back block in the middle of the night on... TV Land? Some channel I forget. And they're like a perfect block of shows that aren't really "Good," but they're... Enjoyable enough not to change the channel.

FWIW, I heard Ryan Leaf (former NFL teammate) say this morning that the Harbaugh he knew was a competitor who would do anything to win, so it's possible he bent/broke the rules. We'll see what comes out.

To fill in the deets: They have clear evidence the cheating happened. They technically "lack" evidence that Harbaugh, himself, was involved, instead of people under him just acting on their own, but... He was definitely involved.

It's the equivalent of Trump trying to say "There's no evidence Trump was involved" when everybody who worked for him was doing illegal shit.

Also, remember Zaslav is the guy who openly said his strategy was to cancel other projects, especially higher budget ones, because he believes they can best make money by focusing on a "90 Day Fiance Universe" since it costs them next to nothing to make.

And he's done it. They have:

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way (which is basically exactly the same as the original show, but they now segregate based on whether the people are currently in America or not, to get two shows out of it.)
90 Day Fiance: Pillow Talk (literally just replaying an episode of one of the other two shows, but having people from those shows pretend to watch them "for the first time" and make comments)

and like a dozen other ones. But they have three versions of the exact same show, and people watch it because we're in the darkest timeline.

The entire story is suspect, to be honest.

According to the TC, he was consistently late multiple times, but store management told him it was okay. But then he was fired for being late, with HR saying he was late, and he even says not all local management told him it was okay, some said it wasn't, and they even put down reasons for his lateness on his file, indicating it wasn't actually okay, but they were making exceptions. But then even later, he says it didn't actually ever matter why he was late, which contradicts what he said earlier.

And now he's saying he is apparently working for another company, or knows of another company, or something, that... Doesn't care if he's late or even shows up? (though I think he admitted this was just trolling.)

None of it makes any sense, so all I can do is judge him on what he's saying. And when he's admitting that he often doesn't even have a good reason for being late, just reasons like "I wanted to finish watching the show I was watching," well...

Why you were late has everything to do with it, because it fills in details about what kind of worker you are, that we normally wouldn't have.

If you admit to being late atleast two times a month just to finish a TV show, then it leaves us to question what other silly reasons you may have been late for. It shows you don't truly value work, and shows that you're willing to try to cut corners for small things (such as "I want to finish this TV show), no matter what.

So, yes. Fair, next.
