That is a fascinating write-up of DKCR for someone like me who has some sort of sadistic fetish with difficult platformers. Honestly I think that's the only genre that ridiculous difficulty is a pro for me though. But yeah, the last level having you lose Diddy if you die once is the dumbest design choice in history and your complaints are absolutely valid.

Tropical Freeze is both harder than Returns in many ways but also more fair. It's just designed so much better and is so much more ambitious of a game that it feels warranted, if that makes sense. You will probably have complaints on the bosses, but they will never do bullshit like the final boss of Returns does. It's just an infinitely better game in every way and you should play it. Also I think the soundtrack is the greatest in gaming history and is David Wise's magnum opus so yeah.

Luigi's Mansion 3

This was pretty great. Never played Dark Moon, but this was certainly a huge step up from the original. Love the creativity of every floor and the wildly differing bosses. Those actually got pretty challenging later on (I never bought the gold bone power-ups because I wanted as much cash as possible by the end). Ended up with just over 100k - I took my time and collected all the gems and every Boo and everything. Shame there isn't a better reward for getting an A rank, but that's not too big of a complaint.

Today I started The Messenger on Game Pass and hot damn this game is already top tier. The writing has made me laugh out loud a ton too.

With 50% Margin, 30% Maintenance Requirement (assuming that you have suddenly declined to the % loss point, and enough stocks are liquidated to bring you back within the 30% margin maintenance requirement):

15% | 18%
20% | 25%
25% | 33%
30% | 50%
35% | 100%
40% | 200%
45% | 500%
50% | Infiniti

Oof yeah, who needs that stress in their life. I'm with Cole here, I would only ever use substantial margin on blue chip stocks if they crash and get silly cheap again. And even then, not until the recovery has already started, because you're never going to perfectly buy the dip.

With the Fed pumping the market and the vaccines being distributed, who knows if we ever get a real crash like last time. I'm optimistic that we will so I can buy cheap, but who knows! Would crypto or Tesla imploding drag the whole market down for a while? I'm not sure. More likely scenario is some event we don't see coming. Some strain of Covid being worse than ever before or something. And it would probably just be a flash crash, so I'd ride it out if I was holding anything and average down.

I am getting somewhat paranoid that some of my under the radar stocks aren't as immune to a market crash as I thought they were after this last week though. Maybe only AVCT has true invulnerability.

Chris Camillo of Dumb Money was 100% leveraged on margin because dude is an absolute lunatic with ambitions of being the next Warren Buffet and...he was down 5 mil on market open today (last I remember his portfolio was 30 million+ so that's quite a dump). But his portfolio was diversified enough that he just sold some of his huge winners and trimmed his margin down significantly. Nonetheless, 100% margin is fucking insane to me. Of course, I haven't been investing for 20 years like he has.

Yeah, you can use it responsibly but even then it's a bit too nerve wracking for my taste and I've always sold gains with it very quick. My only recent use was buying IEA on some margin on one of the dips. Think I bought at 18 and sold around 22. I've maybe used it like 3 times ever and always small percentages of it, always on dips of companies I'm comfortable going long on. Mainly have the margin account so I don't have to wait for funds to settle.

One thing I don't like is you can only buy margin when your cash position is completely exhausted, no? Like on TD, it only automatically transfers a buy to margin buying after you've exhausted free cash. When I had 30k free cash I think I had like 90k available margin to buy, but it would only start dipping into margin if I made a single order over 30k and the rest would automatically buy on margin. There's no "buy on margin" option or anything. So...how do people own a bunch of stocks on margin? It's only after you've successfully made one margin investment and are holding positive returns that then you can make more margin investments, basically?

AVCTW still holding up is astounding to me, especially since it's not the discord. Collectively, we know the discord own(ed) about 30% of all available warrants, but almost everyone sold except the biggest whale (who owns an insane 3 million warrants). Even though most of us there are super bulls, we're convinced it's overbought from the Atlas mention and the Casey Research buy recommendation. The other biggest whale sold then bought back half his position at 1 because it won't drop lol.

I still refuse to FOMO and hope it drops by the week's end. At least volume is getting lower every day, though it's still nuts.

Man it's down a lot right now but the 3month chart shows us we are on the other side of a bell curve. are you really confident this BIGT thing is going somewhere and that this isn't just the end of a pump and dump?

I am not confident at all! This is my lowest conviction/riskiest play I'm playing with some of my huge ENZC wins, hoping to find the next one of those early. I do like their CEO a lot, I do like that Cathie Wood follows him and BigToken on Twitter, I do like the potential here and the app already having millions of users. But it's a very high risk high reward trade. That said, I think we see .10 again soon but who the hell knows.

Hoping this turns things around for the stock short term.

Also feeling pretty good that FPVD finally bottomed out. Who really knows with this one, but I've been watching level 2 on it a lot today and tons of whales have been buying. Lots of million+ share orders (which I can only hope are whales and not FOMO small accounts).

I bought AGAIN back under .02 though baby after making money earlier. I'm liking day trading this one. I'll look out for an end of day dump on it, but holding if that doesn't happen.

Welp feeling pretty bad for taking profits early on AMC right now. The FOMO is hard to resist. Been placing buy orders on my stocks that are red since market open. Didn't get to opening a position in DNN unfortunately. Sort of frustrated that I had an order to buy more MILE at $15.45 that didn't execute even though the stock traded at $15.25 after I submitted it and now it's at $17.27. I guess when something is moving super fast like that a market order could be better.

Yeah this exact thing happened with me and AMC today. I bought the dip earlier regretting I didn't buy back at 5.50. Already sold my whole position for profits though. Likely to buy back below 7 if it happens.

Man that would be a huge loss if he did. Days like today are exactly why you don't throw 70k of your portfolio at a single stock at a completely random time. Felt so good to have 30k extra cash to throw at some juicy dips today.

Whoa there buddy. I looked into it for like 15 minutes, so I really have no idea if it's as worthwhile an investment as it seems at face value. And I won't buy until I do. I just figure between the insane potential of the technology and the hype, it's got a good chance of success. Most of my big trades have been in stocks that have both of those things going for them.

Speaking of which, ENZC is back on its quest for a dollar. I knew I should have thrown 10k back at it, but I was hoping it would get back down to where I first bought in.

Have you all looked at NNDM? 3D printing company that specializes in circuit boards. Cathie Wood and Ark are invested and very bullish, though I imagine lots of hedgies have been taking profits recently. Looking to get in under 10.

Check the six month chart and you'll see the epic run its been on, so could certainly pull back more than that. But it feels like one of the safest risk/reward plays for a big winner long term. I need to spend significantly more time researching their current standing, but could be my favorite long term pick besides AVCT for now.

Blur going to bankrupt me, doubling my holding of FPVD

We shall go bankrupt together then!

I'm contemplating doubling down below .04 myself but haven't pulled the trigger. Everything there is just market noise for now. Needs positive sentiment from Lou/the ticker change to pick up momentum agsin, could keep bleeding out til then.

I'm too wary of making any purchases I fear I won't be able to sell for a profit immediately, as I want to keep as much free cash as I can for AVCTW. If it ever dumps. Very strong support at a dollar right now.

Crazy, I could have thrown 8k gains from FPVD while AVCTW was in the .60s, instead I decided to go long on this crazy ass stock because I've never seen a reverse merger quite like it before. I am convinced it will run one way or another though, whether it's retail hype picking back up or news of plans from Lou.

I picked the right time to get in on it as a social arb trade (early during the 60% day) and the wrong time to go long on it basically, since I'm holding bags for now. At least glad I trimmed a bunch and have realized gains on it and unrealized losses.

We found out what we think caused the AVCTW climb. This alert from Casey Research group to buy AVCTW anywhere under 1.50.

Fuck. More legitimate than a pump for sure, but obviously nothing compared to what firsthand news would do. Why the fuck I panic sold (for profits - I only ever "panic sell" for profits) my highest conviction trade for pennies immediately is beyond me. I thought for sure the mix up narrative was accurate and it would dump. This was a hasty emotional sell once again outweighing the convictions of my research.

Hard to be mad right now with my portfolio's recent insanity though. Plus, I had already sold gains and lost my .50 average. .64 was my average so it's only doubled atm. Just please for the love of God don't announce news until I get back in, AVCT. Specifically news related to the AT&T partner exchange you brilliant sons of bitches thank you

As long as AVCT stays classic AVCT and doesn't announce anything, hopefully this should pull back a bit before the week's end. Alternatively it will just run to 3 on Monday and not dump. For now, I still haven't missed the real action, so I'm not too frustrated about selling...yet.

I noticed if you go back in the game after seeing credits with 100 shines, the cat bell powerup now makes you look like the Giga form but in regular size. Didnt find anything else different about it.

Those lost kitten missions were the only part of the game I didnt like.

Bowser Jr. is also Meowser Jr. upon 100%!

I just completed this game, hence bumping an old topic. Man this is easily the most high effort enhanced port from Nintendo. Bowser's Fury probably took me about 10 hours to 100% too, so way more content than I expected. I'll probably replay it co-op sometime, so good.

Or maybe do a "hard mode" run where I don't use any recovery items. I did this for the second phase of the true final boss. Only took me two tries, but it was nerve wracking and epic.
