Shouldn't take you too long if you just stick to story stuff, but Inazuma is a right and proper region. The islands might seem small, but they've got quite a lot of z-axis going on. That, plus the standard array of diversions, will eat up considerable time.

Team level shouldn't matter too much since your world level can be adjusted some if it is too hard. Inazuma does have some pretty gnarly enemies and environmental hazard though.

For collecting Violetgrass, I made it part of my weekly farm back when we needed to collect regional specialties. I hit up the interactive map to see where the best or laziest spots to get it were.

Definitely would have been a bit easier if I had had a Qiqi back then >_<

50/50 on if I get Kokomi. I've read a few analysis of her kit. I think she'll be nice to have, though hardly essential. One of the perks she brings to the table is role compression, which frees up some potential team comp issues.

Her meta viability will come down to how some of her skills interact with others. I've heard that her jellyfish both does and does not apply hydro every hit, for instance.

How exactly do you acquire the Catch? Ive been slowly trying to catch the fish needed for the fishing poles, but not in any rush.
Near one of the waypoints in Inazuma there is a fish guy (same person that starts the fish event going on now iirc). He has The Catch in his inventory. You need. 6 purple electric fish things, and 20 each of the rusty/golden koi.

Refinements of it take 3 more purple fish, and 10 each of pufferfish/bitter pufferfish.

It is quite a long term chore, made only a little bit easier by the event going on now.

Got Qiqi as my first 5*, from the Raiden Shogun banner. A bit of a bummaner. Is she any good?
Even Qiqi Mains acknowledges that she's not in a stellar spot compared to her peers. That said, you *can* get some good mileage out of her by building her as phys dps. Slap on a prototype archaic. Give her 2pc Bloodstained/2pc Pale Flame. It isn't gonna win you any dps races, but it will mean she can contribute decently while she's doing some heals.

I had built her up just as I was getting around to exploring Inazuma, and I had no regrets swapping her into my exploration team. She was a godsend with the region's damage over time areas.

edit: remembered I had found a dps qiqi guide that outlined her strengths pretty well.

You need reputation to be level 2. The story missions will offer a hefty reputation boost, and then you'll just need some exploration and world quests done.

Noelle will definitely show up on future banners. I got dupes for months after getting the final copy I needed from the shop. No regrets cuz C6 Noelle slaps hard, but there's definitely no worries about her future appearances.

I want to get Sara on this banner for sure...although I'll be perpetually sad that C6 will elude me for a long time, as that's gonna have some nutty potential from what I've seen.

This is a nice sentiment, but things get lost all the time. Just ask viewers of porn how much was lost this year when a certain place decided to go on a deletion rampage. Sure, some of it will have backups, but not all.

I can only imagine the same thing will be true of this youtube decision. People can generally do a good job archiving a lot of things, but with more and more things existing, something will eventually have to give.

I've gotten to experience the joys of the game crashing on me with this update. Seems to trigger when I access the wish history? When I go to restart the game, I can get to just beyond the door but the game crashes again in the white loading screen before any of the element sigils appear.

I had thought I had solved the issue by doing a repair from the game launcher. But I tried to get in today and it is back to white loading screen hell for me. Repair seems to be freezing up at 60% for me too.

I hope that bugs like this get ironed out sooner rather than later, I've only just begun my Inazuma exploration!

In this day and age, who isn't there a picture of?
We would need to see his music player to know this information. Whatever it is, it surely cost 30% more than it needed to.
Indeterminate. The presence of glasses does not necessarily preclude the use of contacts. To suggest otherwise would be visionist.

Robots tend to make everything better, even the end of times. Perhaps a bit overdone, though as real world tech advances, the exact nature of this event evolves too. I like that the two options in parenthesis are polar opposites...one is tech failing us, the other is us failing tech.

That said, the unexplainable option has some allure to it...I imagine not dwelling on the whys of it all would free up some creative space that could then be spent on other areas of the narrative. What if the color green decided to become sentient and declare humanity a threat? What if the moon were swapped with a resource hungry evil Earth? Uh-oh, 'time' is literally running out and when it does, the universe is finished! Lots of weird things can happen here, the only limit is one's imagination.

Damned if I can remember your b8 name, but your steam account might be compromised.

It just sent me some messages about an 'accidental reporting' of my account for hacking with some tiny-ass screenshots and a looming threat of account banning.

Looking into the matter, this seems to be a known scam, but while I didn't take the bait, the fact of the matter is that it did come from your account. I worry that it might try to bait other members of the b8 group.

So yeah, if this is news to you, might want to do some overviewing of your steam security settings.

SovietOmega
07/10/21 8:29:56 PM

In dnd, and most similar rpg scenarios, the warlock would eldritch blast or 'zap'. It is just how classes like it are designed to function, for the most part.

In practical realistic scenarios, the warlock would stab, for in most settings that are not high fantasy, magic often has a steep price and generally takes longer than an instant to prepare, whereas an athame just takes a quick stabbity application of physics. The stab approach has the added benefit of not being prone to spell failure or spell fatigue, should the setting have such things.

That said, if a warlock is in a position where 'stab' is an option to begin with, something has gone wrong.

Dungeons and Dragons is kinda this too. The relative simplicity of 5e coupled with high profile games like Critical Role dramatically escalated the number of people willing to give it a shot.

Noelle's will explode when it runs out for considerable damage if you focus on her some and have her C4. She will also take less damage overall due to high defense. She can also generate it when off the field once a minute if a character gets beat up enough.

Diona is also pretty competitive since her shield scales off what you want to focus on her anyway, so her shields tend to be pretty good, and she can do cryo things for all the team comps that want that element. Worth mentioning that Sacrificial Bow = 2 e casts which is a lot of shieldage.

Beidou...I lack enough experience with, but you generally aren't building her for shield strength and I don't hear about any Beidou shield builds. It is more of a fun bonus you get than what a true shielder would provide.

Xinyan is in a similar boat as Beidou. Her scaling is a little better on paper, but you're just not going to scale her defense enough to make it matter. Pretty sure this leads to her being considered as the weakest shielder and really a lackluster unit on the whole. Which is a shame, but maybe one day Mihoyo will give her the polish she deserves.

Basically, if you're serious about shielding, Noelle and Diona are your best bets unless you have Zhongli.

I mostly just whacked it with Hu Tao, but that's an unfair expectation. Since you got Diluc, he should be a match if well built. Perhaps another pyro for resonance and battery? Venti's not gonna do much for it, though I hear that you can aim shot the balls back to the cube with an archer rather than running around with melee (so long as you're targeting the ball's back half)...might save shave some seconds off.

What was your team comp vs the cube?

Silver lining in this is that since you cleared the previous 2 floors, you can laser focus a team specifically for dealing with the cube quickly. I'd recommend melt or superconduct depending on your unit selection.

If it is the mechanics and timing that are the issue, perhaps practice on the cube in dragonspine for a bit and rack up some bonus boss kills for the battlepass.

That's just the way it goes.

The layers of artifact rng are easily the most obnoxious thing about this game. Winning the cointoss on it being the right set, the 1/5 chance of it being the right piece, rolling the right main stat, having at least 1 good substat, and getting high rolls on the % values those stats can roll. Then one final layer once leveling begins hoping to reveal/target a desired stat.

Thankfully, the game is accessible enough that even if all of that works against you, you can still be fine.

'Had four eggs' implies the past and can not be considered applicable to the present state of egg ownership. A thief has magnanimously given me 3 eggs, but they are a thief, so if I am a good samaritan, I can not claim ownership of these eggs until a future time wherein the law grants me such privilege. My one remaining source of egg lay with my magic rooster which has laid five, however I have not presently taken any of them so they must be counted towards the rooster's total and not mine.

Thus, it can be said that presently speaking, with the most honest reading of the statements as presented, I can surely conclude that 0 is the correct summation of all the eggs that I possess.

The better you know where certain secret items are, the better one can smooth out some of the rng it can throw your way.

More than anything, I like that it is helping put Chrono Trigger out there for a new generation. Doubt I'll get much into it myself, but I think it is very cool that it exists.
