I've always been heavy. Lost quite a bit of weight a few years ago, but gained it back. I got better treatment when I was less fat. Now it's back to barley being acknowledged at all, which my social anxiety makes worse. Sometimes I feel people are either creeped out or repulsed by me and it's not like I'm super huge or disgusting.

I feel like there was a small, but loud group on 261 who were basically fanboys/girls of Democrats and would flip out if you dared criticize or call out the party, it's members, or their policies. I got into many arguments with them. The rest was fairly left leaning besides the conservative users.

I did some digging on the family history of all of my grandparents and it seems like 99% of the time the line would end up in England. My dad's line went really far back and one direct great grandfather was a baron and friend/confidant of Henry VIII. He and some of his ancestors/kids even have wikipedia pages. Another line was some sort of baron too apparently. The only differences are some Dutch heritage through my paternal grandmother and some Belgian and Irish a bit far back.

Don't really go out of my way to gel with my heritage, but a lot of my favorite things are from England like musicians, writers, shows, etc. Some of the English food that gets derided a lot seems fine with me and some parts of English cuisine got passed down through my family in some fashion.

That game was fun, but hard. I'll always associate The Grateful Dead's Touch of Grey with that game because it was the first song in my custom playlist and I would die a lot in that game so every time I would have to restart that song would play.

Probably. I just hope Miyazaki didn't pick up some of George's bad habits. Oh well, I just beat the game for the second time and am doing a NG+ run so I'm content so far. Haven't gotten burnt out yet. I love the game.

FROM confirmed that he wrote some background lore that takes place like a thousand years before the start of the game and he delivered it way back in pre-production. They more or less intentionally avoiding giving him anything that could impact their release schedule and what he wrote is practically ignored, so it's more likely they just wanted to use his name in marketing.

I can believe that. Some of the names sound like something he'd come up with though, but could be a coincidence or just an influence.

This is going to end up like George RR Martin's other work isn't it?

I'm an old dumb white guy who lives under a rock and I had never seen a picture of him or heard the guy's name with any context outside of him being a musician of some kind, so for a little bit I thought he was a country singer and pictured any modern country star in my head. They all pretty much look the same.

I find it odd how feet and armpit people look down on each other. I also find it odd how people who will gladly eat ass find feet and armpits gross.

Top executives even admitted that he was good for business/ratings back then. They absolutely do prefer Trump and his inflammatory drama over a stable and well-ran nation.

Plus they get those sweet Republican tax cuts. It's all win/win for them.

I hate how I can't tell if something is satire anymore like "alpha male" being by the guy's name plus the general stupidity of the tweet.

Of course Swift is famous because of her music and Boebert is just a typical right wing nutjob who got extra attention because of her looks. Not to mention she married her creepo ex husband who exposed himself to underage girls and was fondling her bf's junk in public.

As others have said, she's right, but this will just be used by right wing media, which is pretty much all big media at this point. Still a shame that things have gotten to this point with our choices of president.

Nice. One day I'm going to try a MG. I prefer the smaller HGs and RGs. I still use pens for panel lining. I'm no good with brushes. It's why I don't paint much even if I really want to because I can't get a sprayer and compressor. I hate how even just looking at the ink hard enough makes it fade. I've wanted to try scribing some old HGs to make them pop more, but I worry I'm going to mess it up or break something.

Isn't it just from the typical conservative/Republican playbook though? They're just more blatant and hateful about it. They had to tone it down in the past few decades since the segregation/Civil Rights era and now realize they don't have to hide their horrible views anymore because the media is on their side.

I was introduced to guns at a young age although probably not that young. My dad got me a .22 and stressed safety and that guns weren't toys and it and the rest of his guns were locked up when not in use. There's not one picture of me with a gun either. I got a 20 gauge when I was like 9 or 10 and even then it hurt and scared me when I first shot it. I hope this kid isn't firing that 12 on his own at least.
